This thread rapidly becoming about one person, yet again....

Lou I think yopu should apologise for ruining yet another thread.

Ashley
Me apologise for ruining a thread but what you said to me is ok? You're just a horrible horrible person you must see that as must the people reading this. |
By:
I saw through this joker a long time ago and if memory serves was the first
to go on Lou's banned list, personally I dont mind but this has turned into a vicious circle, Lou hisses at people who disagree with his forceful opinion and then asks for justifications from those who disagree, the replies are usually along the lines of its an opinion why do I need to justfiy and off he goes again the sooner he accepts that this a forum not a courtroom and people are allowed to state opinions without facts then some sense of normaility and fun can be restored |
By:
Lou you shouldn't really post personal stuff like that on the forum, especially if you're going to act like a total d!ck all the time. you're just giving people ammo. Put it down to experience. I didn't wish you ill health anyway!

I was (once again) just defending myself at the time when someone asked where I'd been and why wouldn't I reply. I was getting a load of stick at the time and I explained I'd been to the hospital and got that response. Just an awful thing to say. |
By:
Ok, despite you being a total pain in the backside I do not wish ill health on you so hope all works out ok :)

Silly question boys been reading through a few post here and was wondering who was eggnog, as this name appears in quite a few post.
By:
Eoghan Quigg, 3rd behind Alexandra and JLS
By:
So thats who people were refering to as being nobbled, thats got to be a joke. Talentless boy who had no chance against Alexandra, another Lloyd who shouldnt have got as far as the did.
By:
His polling was impressive though, far more than the likes of Lloyd could ever have hoped for, and probably more along the lines of what Leon from the previous year might have been getting from what we were lead to believe.
Whatever anyone's opinion of the lad was, the way his "mentor" treated him in the final was despicable, and imo SCowell was pulling out all the stops to make sure he didn't end up with a similar situation to the year before. |
By:
Exactly. That was the context. Of course he didn't deserve to win, but they were desperate not to end up with another Leon on their hands...
By:
by the same logic would they then not do their best to nobble cardle?
By:
That's my fear... Especially with his Brookstein tendancies!
By:
thing is dizzy, if he doesn't think he CAN stop cardle, then he won't bother trying. best to make the best of a bad lot and get behind the almost-certain winner.
that said, if they're releasing all 4 finalists' winners songs then makes less difference this year. and certainly makes winning much less important. |
By:
if they were going to nobble Cardle, they wouldn't have put him with Rihanna
By:
True - it would have been the Robbie death knell!
You're probably right GTL - if the polls are accurate and Matt is already that far ahead then there will be a certain fait accompli to proceedings at the weekend. I think that Cowell has achieved his prime objective anyway - which is getting the final line-up he wanted. Anything else is a bonus now. One Direction will have a career whether they finish 1st or 4th, and possibly Cher too, to a lesser extent. |
By:
They may not need to noble cardle if his voice is not up to scratch, anyway I am still of the belief either way Cowell wants Rebecca and will put his influence behind her one way or another. He may have his soldiers ramming the phones lines with votes ( kidding ) to be fair though Matt is decent, but I dont think he is on the same level as Rebecca
By:
if they were going to nobble Cardle, they wouldn't have put him with Rihanna
yep, he'd have been put with robbie, but i still don't think putting him with rihanna is at all ideal. it's not going to win him any new votes as the youngsters will be all over cher/will.i.am and one direction. it may however lose him some of the "middle of the road" vote to rebecca, who has a very audience-pleasing duet lined up with christina (assuming they do "beautiful"). that's just one view though. |

God knows why but I actually unblocked the turd and read the usual shiite on this thread.
I did question whether you had been to the hospital, I did question whether you had had the bets you said you had had because I think you are a fantasist with no friends and no life and almost certainly nothing like the funds required for you so called fantasy bets. You think I am a horrible person, like I give a flying feck? You have single handedly ruined this forum this year and turned what should be informative discussion into a joke. If you do have some sort of medical complaint I hope it is nothing to serious but if was something that affected your ability to type then that would be a bonus. You seem to have 'blocked' 90% of the regular users so why not just feck off and let the rest of us get on with rational discussions. I also know that as of yesterday you hadn't blocked me which does rather back up my opinion that you are a liar and a fantasist and a turd! |

Eoghan had something that no other on here had before or since. Balls.
He truly believed in himself. He was no Lloyd fake and no Chico comedy act. I know his singing was limited but he deserves more than Butlins. I hope he finds his niche. Good line up. Him, the divine Vickers the deserving JLS and the proffesional but boring Burke. Better than Matt the adequate, Rebbecca ramped but as geniuinely popular as cheese, Cher actually the one with the most "X" factor. But more X certicate than Xmas. Or 1D not fit to tie Eogans shoe laces. I think Cowell assasinated Eoghan becasue Eoghan had too much bottle. Cowells a slime ball. |

anyone that is good enough should be able to start a successful career on the back of making it to the last 4 of XF. Alexandra, JLS and Vickers all did well. Whatever happened to Eggy?

ttt for bunny
9.28pm post last night |

Obviously Eoghan was still at school so assume he had to his education to complete, but has been doing the rounds at Butlins and the like, as do a lot of them. Think he is scheduled for Pontins next Spring!!

Looks like they can choose out of the 2.

Worrying poll there Denman. Rebecca obviously catching Matt. It's now 14 polls to 1 whereas it was 14-0.

that poll allows muliple votes,doh

By:
No it doesn't - "Thank you, we have already counted your vote."
By:
Ah yes, it looks like you can clear the cache and vote again.
By:
That's true with virtually every online poll though
By:
what fll said. if you clear your cookies each time you can vote as many times you like in just about any poll i can think of.

i wouldn't be too concerned about the tonsilitis this week - Matt was ill last week and still got practically double his nearest rival. he can't not turn up, so as long as he stands there and squeaks, his vote should hold up.
and what's the Eggnog insinuations? that he led a lot of weeks and lost, so Matt will? different kettle of fish as far as I'm concerned. Eggy won early but then was overtaken by about week seven; Matt's extending his lead if anything as the final approaches. vote transference could be an issue, but I understand that even if Rebecca picks up every Mary vote, she's still behind, and that Matt+OD easily beats Rebecca+Cher+Mary. All-in-all I would have Matt a 1.4 to 1.5 chance, and despite already being all-in, I'd be re-writing the rules of poker and buying more chips to reraise with if I had the cash! PS: Don't start slagging off cheese! |
By:
I think Matt will win. He's the sort of reasonably good looking boring git than always does.
By:
Cowell will want to showboat this year's winner in the American version. He will want a black singer as they have more credibility in the music industry than an average white unshaven limey.
By:
We'll know as the show plays out whether he's going to be turned over, I suspect the market will too. There will either be an in-play flip-flop/carnage or Matt will coast and odds contract.
