Exactly. Funny how none of the Rebecca backers/rampers will ever actually say yes Matt's a big threat and perhaps the most obvious winner. I can barely read many of the posts below so it is frustrating but from what i can decipher they all seem to just write off Matt. Won't they all feel silly if by some chance he wins? At least I say Rebecca COULD win and if anything Matt's 2 0r 3 times according to the betting as likely to win and just about every poll has him a mile clear! |

Tracking down the yougov polls is like looking for the Loch Ness Monster...is there a link?
I thought they had to put actual results on their site soon after it appeared in the paper but I can't see anything there. Agree they are pretty good. |

Oh yeh for sure but I think tips on is an absolute steal. I'm in for a good few bob as it is (and a good few bob downside) otherwise I'd have another lump on. We've got people on the pitch .................. it is now! |

I feel that Rebecca will have to pull something out of her locker that we haven't seen yet. It's an 'on-form' Matt's to lose. His health is a worry and a significant random. Personally, I don't feel the duets make a difference to the final result.

Got to be honest as always. I do think Rebecca's duet partner is the best to get but it's only one song so what happens when Matt hits em' between the eyes with a couple of 'smash it out the park' numbers that rebecca hasn't delivered once yet in about a dozen attampts? His health is a concern to be fair but a week after last Saturday when he never done bad at all I'm sure he'll be fine and on top form. |

There's a pretty decent argument also cider
that he should be 1/2 on at the moment. It's a while since we went into an x factor final with a virtual even money favourites. He ticks just as many boxes as many of the previous winners. Rebecca's supporters have dominated the forum over the last 72 hours but outside the Betfair Bubble do you really think many people see Christina "no no.1s in 8 years" Aguilera as a major plus? When Matt wins decisively - as i think he will - i suspect a lot of people will crawl out the woodwork claiming that they couldn't stop topping up at 1.9/evens |

further to the Popbitch posting this afternoon - I'm told Matt has won seven out of nine public votes, including the last five weeks on the bounce. The last two weeks he's apparently received practically double his nearest rival. That's a decent bet at evens!

The yougov one will probably be out saturday. Hopefully for us rebecca fans it will show her closing the gap compared with their last. It looks like she has a massive uphill task though, even with Cowell's help, if othh is right. Which he usually is :) |

my info is that OD have been "doing a Lloyd", ie hovering around the 10-12% level, unable to make decent gains even when singing last. Cowell has resigned himself to them not winning.
