Why should we believe you though? We hear rumours like this all the time. 'Mary topping the vote'. 'Matt's miles ahead' Rebecca's leading the voting' etc. How do we know what's true so why believe yours? |

Her job was done when she halved in price after Stay. |

Cher's Stay still the best performance of the series for me, and Turn My Swag On the best audition. Two totally different types of performance. When she's on it she's the biggest talent in the show - something I think many on here seem to have forgotten.
There have been a couple of disasters, most notably Imagine which just didn't work. Personally I didn't like Shout or Walk This Way, not least for the look they gave her. Other times she has looked stunning: Stay, and Sorry Seems To Be The Hardest Word. I think ideally they want one from each judge in the final but if she's 'on it' in the semi she can see off scared rabbit Rebecca. Not sure she can win because if she made the final two her many haters will finally get their chance to make a negative vote, but top 3 is very possible. |

something i didnt mention Five Leaves...One Direction were in the bottom 3 of votes until 11am this morning....now THATS FACT!
I'm not saying that im terribly confident that she will win , but i am of being in the TOP 3 in which ive been hammering from evens to 9/2. anyway ..if anyone wants further proof then go back and look at louis tell cher in front of the world that she will be in the final..it was in LIVE SHOW 5 after she sang the jay zee song..he balls upped and told cher to her face that she will be in the final and then quickly retracted his words and said "she could be in the final". he's well known for switching off and then very quickly realised what he said. if you want to study this then ive pasted the link below...keep replaying the clip from 4mins 30 secs to 4mins 45 sces( study Louis and Simon when the camera zooms out) some people missed this but hawkeye here didn't! some people thiink that this may seem crazy as a simple mistake but i aint having that...louis spilt the beans ..simple as that! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I4Q_nGU3-uo&feature=related I actually believe that it doesnt really matter what the general public do with their phones on a Saturday & Sunday night...Cowell actually said it tonight ...that there were people trying to bring down the show by trying to keep wagner in, whats hes actually saying is that there are people trying to bring the show down by campaigning and making votes for wagner!...Now we arn't talking a campain in our living rooms here but a consortium of people who have tried their best to do this and have probably invested in doing so to discredit X FACTOR. What im trying to say is that it shows it doesnt matter who votes for who..Cowell chooses who wins this show, always has been and always will be ..as Sun Tzu once stated " every war is won before any battle is fought" do you honestly think that they just invest millions on what the public tell them too! It's business. Now this is just my opinion...but i see cher being probably being more successfull in the USA than in the uk...now if thats whats in cowells mind then can he really get away with that by her not coming close in winning this competition! mmm i'm not 100% but i dont think so. I believe that she could be the female alternative to justin bieber or to that effect ...a young role model to pray and serve to lol like i say..its just my opinion! |

Cher's mum has been saying that the same leak that told Cher she was in the bottom 2 last week said the same again this week, so she was genuinely as shocked as she looked to be in the top 4 this week as she bought into the leak.
To me that somewhat points to some of these leaks being a mixture of common sense deduction and luck (until eventually the lucky guesses run out). I do agree though with Rozelkid's assessment that Cowell will basically do as much as he can to get Cher into the final. The man is looking firmly west and there's only one of this pack that is generating interest in the States and that is Cher. Perez Hilton is all over her. Hot producers are lining up to work with her, due to her talent, image and work ethic. A shirtless feisty bloke singing womens' songs and a passive, nervous wreck crying Game impersonator are of no promotional value to launching X factor USA. |

Good spot re Cher Journey. I think Cher will do a lot better than Matt certainly. As I have posted elsewhere she doesn't really need XF. Disagree re Rebecca though as with the proper handling I think she could be huge. Nicole S was fawning over her yesterday (said there was no voice like hers anywhere) and others like her have said similar. Those in the business know how special she is/could be.
Matt will be serving drinks in Walkabout in 18 months time and getting £50 extra to do the support for the £200 headline act.Cowell will know this too. |

Cher has served her purpose. Cowell used her to get Wagner out. He'll dump her now.
I just don't buy the idea that the americans will have any interest in someone who looks like a 7 year old off to a birthday party and whose performances look like a poor end of term show at a local drama school. I loved her audition, but she's just gone backwards since then. |

She is just not authentic, the fact that her best perfromance is a rap free one says it all. She wikll have her core following and it has done well to get her this far but the end is nigh! |

Yeah exactly George.
I can certainly see a potential path to the final two for her but as has been pointed out, that's the point where the haters get their chance to effectively 'evict' her and nobody's denying she has the most haters of anyone in the competition. And she doesn't need to 'bounce'. She just needs to engage her main audience i.e. no more cruddy Lennon covers. She has the ability to step it up a level, a fact some are blind to as they think Stay was her big moment when it was in fact just her proving a point. (p.s. Forgot to say... Nice to see jimny and BTF getting dragged into this madness. Hope you're both doing well guys) |

RIght,this is for all the doubters,Cher is not unlikeable or thick,shes a 17 year old kid trying to be a grown up,we've all been there,so stop slagging her.
She is the most talented by far,four of the tracks shes covered so far are better than the originals,fact,hard knock life,girlfriend,diggity/shout(mix)and turn my swag on. Matt sometimes struggles to hit notes,hes a glorified pub singer. Rebecca never moves from the same spot and sings the same slow tempo boring tracks every week,totally lacks confidence and charisma,but they had picked up on that in the auditions. Simon was trying it on with one direction,but after last weeks double header,i think he now realises who the true class act is,he seems massively in favour of cher,"on the money","reminding us its not a karaoke",meaning that he obviously thinks at least one of the others is. Mary is also a pub singer,well out of her depth. Cher is incredible value at the current 20/1 on offer on betfair,lets face it,is rebecca,matt,one direction or mary going to cut it on the US market?,not a chance in hell. But Cher can do anything,and constantly surprises us with her versatility,this girls 17 and has one week to prepare between performances,so some of the things she is doing out there is truely amazing. Given more time to work on new tracks,theres no doubt she will produce some amazing stuff,look at Leona lewis and Joe from last year. Of course the doubters will always appear on these forums spitting their poison,because they have tunnel vision and lack the basic intelligence to comprehend the reality of the situation,thats why ive backed the winner of x factor at good prices for the last 3 years,and your still useing zyxel toilet paper to wipe your arse(bit rough on the cheeks). Swallow your pride lads and get on Cher,she will win. |
