when will betfair make an explanation?
By:
Do you want an explanation for the Davy match?
The Isner match needs no explanation. |
By:
what do they explain?
That they settled the winner correctly.. would you prefer to see the Isner backers paid as winners? |
By:
kedlo prekrasnoje-))) vy jesho pehajete? togda my idiom k vam! muhaha
By:
they have to explain why davy match is voided and this match is not voided..
By:
What does the Daydenko match have to do with this one?
The rights and wrongs of voiding that match are a totally separate debate to this one. There's nothing for Betfair to clarify here. |
By:
Believe it
Are you really that stupid? |
By:
There is a person who write on PC player's name. It could be possible that this person had been paid by someone to inverse name. This is corruption and it could be considered like davy's match. Looks all the money that people have lost cose a SB wrong. Betfair can void the bet like they cannot void. This is them who decide but they will lose a lot of bet players...
By:
I think everyone should treat this as a lesson learned and stop moaning
By:
No void for sure. I got an email response, "we take this case very seriously, sorry for the inconvenience" and bla-bla-bla. But the bets stand.
By:
is betfair shows a SB for tennis match ? I didn't found it
By:
who decides void of davy match was wrong decision?? think it was fair.. because we all know davy f.ix.e.d this match and some people know it before he take the injury break..
so it was a illegal betting and void is fair.. |
By:
You should try to contact the manager of scoreboard operations at Newport, and ask what the hell is going on here... They are the one to blame.

I've just logged back in after the end of the Isner match and can't believe what is happening. I can't believe that BF did not void this match, surely they must have realised that a lot of people gambled a lot of money based on the scores they too relied on. Commiserations to those that lost loads (including that person who put 12k on Isner at "5-0" up in the second set) and surely it is in the interest of all parties (inc. Levine backers) to void that match and we can all pretend that it didnt happen. The damage that this can do to in-play gambling confidence is surely huge and can incentivise some people to manipulate sb's.
How many people have protested to BF and if we all did would it make a blind bit of difference? It can be argued that it is in BF's interest for Levine to be settled as the winner as the difference in commission it received was substantial. |
By:
no commiseration to the person that put 12k on at 5-0 in the second set from me.
That's what u get when u think ur smarter than the rest. |

Leave it out mate. If you want to discuss Davydenko start a new thread - it has sod all to do with this match. |
By:
May we put an end to this thread now? I'm sick of refreshing the page...lol

I disagree, I hate to see anyone lose that sort of money regardless.
If you had 12k and gambled on a low odds match based on the score at the time you would reasonably expect to red out at some point of the match if things went wrong. However there was no chance for that to happen. To be misled (and most of us were) by a) internet scoreboards and b) betfair odds (I can't remember what Levine's odds were but I don't recall seeing them in the low 1.x's, which would have raised suspicions) is nothing short of fraudulent activity. Of course, the people who made a mint innoncently (layers who lay most matches at low odds) would protest but I am sure the numbers of people who lost "unfairly" their dough would outweigh them. The people who have suspicious betting patterns for this match should be investigated. |
By:
There were no suspicious betting patterns on this match were there?
By:
But if the people laying the odds had got it wrong by whatever means and were gifting stupid prices, it would have been ok for them to lose out, and people on here to take their money
A few double standards on here me thinks |
By:
from the moment 'isner' broke the odds were very conspicuous. If ur willing to risk 12k because u see odds that are too good to be true, and lose it cuz they weren't so good after all then don't count on commiseration from me.

i am complaining because feel my money was stolen.. like davy match losers!

Blame the scoreboard...they stole your money. Contact them.

Blame the scoreboard...they stole your money. Contact them. if davy match was not voided, does unfairly losers need to contact davydenko for why did he fi.x.i.d the match? Come off it! |
By:
u wouldn't be the one with the 12K would U ?
By:
Did any bookies offer in-play betting on this match? If so, what were their odds like and did they keep offering prices or did they remove the market? Sorry if this has already been asked, long thread.

nice my account is empty

i am complaining because feel my money was stolen.. like davy match losers! you thought you were stealing money when the odds were wrong, mayb you should think next time |
By:
all this comments for NOTHING!!!
If you bet without watch the match, just with SB, with post from other people, with just odds movements... YOU ARE RESPONSABLE OF THE RESULT. The SB was wrong OK but there is no reason to void this... end of discussion.. its obvius FFS |
By:
like there were no reason to void davy's match cause we can't prove that he 'd been paid to lose. End of the discussion. it's obvious !

By:
Caramba, not sure if any bookies offered it in play but they all payed out as Isner as the winner, and i'm still waiting for them to correct Levine as the winner even though they have him listed to play in the next round today.
That's another reason why i think it should be voided, shows more a less everyone thought Isner had won! even betfair did! |
By:
Levine Vs Isner, tilme played ; 00:05:22 at sb results...Wow this is the fastest tennis match in history ^^
By:
Bookmakers will be stuffed
I would imagine alot of people withdrew their winnings very quickly when they realised what had happened Yes, they won't be able to use the account again, but I would think the majority of people can manage without 1 bookmaker |

lots of aces Apo

For sure. and all Sportwebsite like "l'Equipe" or "Eurosport". Everybody wrong with this match except those who were on site and those who tempt the risk of an inversion (well done)... |
