Liquidity was shocking in general for the semi final in play. Got on Ukraine at 6.0 to win the semi final. Looked the only danger to Croatia

By:
my 1.01 wasn't taken
surprising cos someone was clearly in the hall robbing all the 1.01's before anyone else saw it ... |

They were low teens pre SF, so have taken a drift. Strange plunge all in all

Ireland is an awful song but the staging is exceptional. Top 15/10 was a good shout. The bubble is getting a bit carried away with it though.

Croatia were superb last night. He has improved so much since the Dora event, which was very amateurish. That should be enough to get him the 150+ jury points needed to win

Do we all cover our ears and eyes when Lord Satan's representative is on stage again during the grand final?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BNc5zTYkTaQ Very impressive how much of an improvement there has been for Bambie Thug's entry from national final to Eurovision semifinal all around - costumes, lights, stage direction, singing...everything is so cool. Probably my personal favourite even if it is unlikely to win overall. |

got on at 2.12 at 07-May-24 22:05 and 2.28 at 07-May-24 23:18
price then drifted to 2.48 (yesterday). thought someone may have information they didn't win Tuesdays Semi but the market is now suggesting they ran away with it. 1.76 |

I'm relatively new to eurovision betting, slightly baffled at how accurately the odds reflect the qualifiers as many of the songs/acts are indistinguishable in my out of touch oldie fuddy duddy mind.
Things I have noticed, a) The £££ spent on production of the act in the qualifiers seems to tally with the qualify/not qualify. i.e. the non qualifiers act only have graphics, the qualifiers have money spent on props or 'fire'. b) there is always at least one (and probably only one) odds on act that doesn't qualify. Likely necessary for the market maker to cast enough doubt to make a healthy profit. |
