What you don't seem to realise Clyde is, i know 100% for a fact less than 0.5% of gamblers read this forum. So why on earth would i think what i write has any effect on a market ?

I thought Littler would be shorter on the outright. I laid him top 3, which works out laying him at 1.58 to be nominated. If I laid him on the outright it would have equated to laying him to be nominated at 1.5. I think in fact, if you'd timed it perfectly you could have laid pre noms at a lower price than he has been post noms.

I did back him a little army. It's what I think will happen but I'm not confident it will happen. I would've took more had there been more at that price, but no more at that price ever materialised. His price atm is in part due to his poor SM numbers (so far)

Also i have seen two tipsters on twitter who have tipped him up, i'm guessing more will jump on if he stays this price a bit longer. Just for the simple fact no tipster is gonna tip up a 1/4 shot. |

The one or 2 people that did get it before the bookie trader realised the pre nom prices were left up in error, will have their accounts restricted on the spot, unless they were long term losers. I'd call that cheating myself.

I thought it was a sign that someone knew the main nominations too, so was never going to cover when he drifted. Last thing I want to do is throw some winnings away to insiders. There's nothing wrong per se in tipping very short odds. Not for everyone, but you can get money on them, which often you can't do with the bigger prices. I'm going to back a 1/20 shot that should be 1/40 (not the blind fella in SCD which I haven't seen either).

I was being facetious with The Leigh Journal comment. It's about as relevant as the Runcorn and Widnes Gazette. Luke will ofc easily win the u25 demographic. I imagine the BBC SPOTY show is a bit of a yawn fest for them personally. Over 25 and he's prolly coming 4th. Root appears steadily popular across all demographics. Maybe he has a small outside chance of beating them both. He definitely seems a fair bit more popular than Broad was last year.

If you actually made a bit of an effort and joined some Littler facebook groups, you'd see how many old dears and middle aged women are on there...loving him loads, saying there voting.
Seems pretty daft too spend this much time on here and betting on an event without knowing the competition inside out and what you're really up against Clyde ? or you can just listen to your boys telling you who and who can't win. My Dad been doing my nut in for months saying this and that, but he's 74 and as outdated as most on here...i should sign the old fella up |
