I definitely wouldn't be surprised if they wanted him to win. It's a statement to the bbc critics

Army's exposure on the lack of articles on keely is very interesting. The same salford gang running this show

There is a possibility, to 'save' the spoty brand. It would be the antithesis to what the BBC thinks its job is in general, at the moment though. I see absolutely no change in the direction of their output when I witness it, if anything they become even more intransigent as time passes. Plus, much as a I like Littler, you cannot compare a chubby kid who enjoys an unprecedented natural hand/eye coordination, to what it takes to win an olympic gold in athletics. Of the course we have the perennial, are darts/snooker a sport question. It's not comparable, but Luke is miles ahead on charisma, and I suppose that gives him a squeak.

I was going to try and come up with a clever riposte for being accused of writing a salad about Littler, but it's defeated me, alas!

Hype really begins from today, 5 sessions of darts before the VTW..people travelling to the Ally Pally on trains all talking about Littler, word of mouth about SPOTY for casuals not going to the darts we'll overhear the chatter.
Motivation from the people going will go into overdrive, then we will have them singing Luke Littler while the darts is on and hopefully cards showing vote for littler, as well as the presenters pushing it.

3 days of it........

See the campaign is going well. Keely is toast looking at betting.

Those who like to back the shorties, moving onto Keely after Chris won Strictly. The obvious difference being that backing Chris was 'free money', in the final. Backing Keely clearly isn't

"8 army posts in a row. You do know ranting away on here won't make him win, and doesn't seem to affect the prices..."

That's a bit unfair stu.  It does seem to affect the prices.....  INVERSELY Laugh

Perhaps it's all part of army's cunning plan?  Confused

Why hasn't every shrewdie on the planet, from every sport or betting arena smashed that price in by now....a support level at 5...by now we should be saying, there's definitely a support level at even money.

I want him to win by the way, but, regardless of the reasons given on here, he should not be available at 4/1 on here and 3/1 with the books., it stinks, the market is screaming at you to back him.

Duffy

Darts record is sh1t at SPOTY, Athletics has the best by a mile. On top of that no one has ever done the double..winning YSPOTY and SPOTY, the layers are in there rights to take him on.

Does not mean its not massive value, it is. If the newbies turn up and vote for Littler he p1sses in

It really is as simple as that

Is darts a sport?

If you're reading this, our guess is you probably think it is - and while opinion differs, you'd be right.

Darts has been officially recognised as a sport by all of the sports councils in the United Kingdom.

Sport England recognised darts as a sporting activity in March 2025 and Sport Wales, Sport Northern Ireland and Sport Scotland followed suit.

Hit the thumbs if you agree, or disagree.

obviously a typo on that report

2005
Darts has long been a bone of contention in the debate around what constitutes a sport, with some seeing it as the ultimate pub game. It was officially recognised by Sport England in 2005.

BBC must be p1ssed off with all the comments from numpites saying its a pub game Plain
