9.1m watched her WIN the 800m armagnac. That was the most of any event at The Olympics. So she's already the most popular Olympian this year. Also in previous years there were loads of Olympians. Jess had Mo, Andy and Wiggins in her year. A stellar year. This year is pants by comparison. Only Yee and Storey as Olympic competition this time round. Some para swimmer who I've never heard of got more views than Storey

Yee and Storey had amazing come back wins, Yee running to the line will count for loads Keely loses out on every single metric, apart from the viewers which is as dubious as feck with above reasons. How many would of watched Luke in the final had he been on BBC 1 or ITV ?? answer that or are you ignoring it like you have all year ?????????????????????? |

She's also won 3 consecutive gold medals at global championships. That's more than the veteran Kelly Holmes achieved before her double Olympic Gold. The 9.1m who watched her are understated middle class types, not yobbish lager louts, and tattooed, colagen lipped, fake boobed, Prosecco drinking ladettes, jumping on the Littler bandwagon making TikTok videos, who have never actually watched the darts in their lives.
