Littler's price is looking a bit like Constitution's Hill's for the Champion after that gallop with Sir GinoCry

Jaysus, the population of warrington is 211,000 .  That's a decent vote by itself

You can change that to 460,000 now, as Runcorn and St Helens are fighting over right to him along with Warrington Laugh

Since when has the price had anything to do with the votes they each get ?

Luke's voters are apparently not gonna show up, so let the market keep thinking that and take some decent value

He wasn't gonna get listed and the market went to 19.0 - then he got listed lol

He isn't gonna win now so has drifted - we'll see on that one won't we.........

In other news, decent article with Emma Paton, which has a quote from her that screams votes

The Littler effect has made a big difference with the demographic. The amount of under-35s watching darts has almost doubled. The female viewership is also at an all-time high.

Be interested to know how they calculate the female viewership, i'm guessing that's not partners sat on the sofa next to there blokes coz there is sh1t tons of them regardless.

They must mean female only households

They just mean any telly that's switched on. Bloke will be asleep dribbling down his vest, and the wifey will have the remote

Bloke dreaming about being Keely's daddy and voting for her in exchange for jer sitting on his knee

Best of luck to the Littler backers - army , Brushy et al

He’s a phenomenon and it’s not easy to try to work out his voting thresholds on Tuesday evening. There is a real possibility he wins this quite easily if his fan base and darts fans turn up. Also wise not to underestimate his draw from outside of the darts world .

I think he wins and have adjusted my book accordingly after the nominations were revealed.

Again - good luck to you all.

I've been backing Luke, in the words of Clint, deserve has nothing to do with it, I think he will have the most motivated voters.

Very true hems, everyone is assuming traditional spoty viewers won't give him the time of day. Seriously naive imo, considering i know two who love the darts. Clare Balding was seen at one of Littlers matches loving it, while Gabby Logan is also a big darts fan who couldn't wait to interview him. If there not considered traditional spoty viewing fodder, then who is ?

A big question is what has Keely done for athletics outside of the sport ? Hardly anything or at least not gone out of her way to do much that i can see.
Luke goes out of his way all of the time for kids, turning up at stores, going to dart clubs and even getting on a plane to Gibraltar to be there to present the awards, and that was straight after playing at minehead all week, then driving to London the next day....he was on the plane within 12 hours of that !!

Keely's supporters settle down for cream tea and scones while watching her, dart fans travel hundreds of miles, dress up like dinosaurs and banana's and sing there hearts out. Hearn said he could of sold over 300,000 tickets for the world championships, thats a lot of fanatical dart fans....and if there willing to go to those lengths, im sure they can be motivated to phone up...more than once.

I don't give Keely any chance tbh, she has to overcome that big split vote...im sure a lot of the traditional viewers will also be cricket fans as well, most of the people who watched her win, would of seen most of the Olympic coverage anyway, including Yee and Storey. Doesn't mean they will all vote for her or have a preference for the track.
If anything Yee, Storey and Root't stories are as big or bigger than Keely's anyway and will be shown in that way.

The fact she splits votes means Luke won't have to get many from the traditional viewers to be that far behind if at all, then he has his diehards from Warrington and surrounding areas, plus his dedicated fan groups. That does not include casual fans of his or dart fans in general.

Keely simple isn't famous enough to compete with all of that !!

Still talking about prices i see and the mentality a fav can never be beat, even though its the falsest one this year CrazyCrazyCrazy
By:

When: 13 Dec 24 08:43
I think the obvious thing about all of this, who is social media more likely to get behind on the night.

Keely - Who won 6 months ago and disappeared off the face of the earth and is still not widely known in her own country

Luke - Who has been in the public eye all year and is even known in small villages in South America

Funny price to fix it on all the same

Too greedy to get good prices.

Took this from jungle thread, i 100% think this is happening with this market with shrewd British punters..The Ozzies with there inside info are far too stupid and greedy to think of clever market manipulation.

We all know if this was Big Brother, IAC etc. Luke would be 1.20 so you have to seriously question motives !!!!!
