From the official site....
Funny man Jon Clegg will be making an impression in the Final after being announced as the Wild Card. The comedian who impersonated Simon Cowell in his audition, lost out to Darcy Oake and Collabro in his semi-final but will now go head-to-head with the 10 top acts on Saturday. "I'm on top of the world," Jon told us. "I thought I was in with a chance but there were so many strong contenders for the Wild Card. "I thought Bailey had a good chance - he is hugely talented. Also Light Balance, Innova and Jodi." Jon has just three days to prepare for the Final but said he was working on a new routine just in case he got the call. Fans can expect to see some familiar characters as well as a few surprises. "I've got quite a few new impressions planned for the Final," Jon said. "But I'll be bringing out a few favourites too. I'd say the act will be 75 per cent new material. "I'm actually working for the next few days but I'll be rehearsing to to make sure I'm 100 per cent ready. I've actually got a couple of gigs. They will give me a chance to try out some new material without giving too much away." Jon's impressionist father who's footsteps he followed in is hoping to be in the audience for the Final. As well as receiving strong support from his family, Jon has picked up plenty of fans from further afield. "My dad is absolutely over the moon," Jon said. "He's so made up for me. "Joe Pasquale tweeted me well done after I impersonated him. I've had loads of comments about my Ant and Dec. That seems to be the favourite." Clegg (Jon not Nick) |

Very strange. I can only assume someone left it up by mistake. Or a late 2nd WC

Very strange. I can only assume someone left it up by mistake. Or a late 2nd WC If Paddy is injured again? |
|
By:
Although still unlikely to be him. And, even if it is, he can`t be top 3. Your money`s safe.+
|
|
By:
A small chance of Paddy struggling and Bailey being the reserve, but as you say, he'd have very little chance of top 3 anyway.
I won't lose any sleep |

Caught Darcy's interview on Radio 1 early.Sounded like he has just one illusion.....words such as epic, dangerous and risky were used to describe it

Played danny boy yesterday too. Does that mean she will be playing it in the final? Fits the description. I will settle for it and the GBP will prefer it to the overwrought semi performance.

I doubt it, they try to keep that stuff a surprise

Collabro opened the BGT segment, subtle, sound quality was poor.
Darcy did not say much, Holly asks if he will have his top off on Saturday The addict initiative, doing new routine Bam come across as annoying as hell , or cute. |
