Sweden is a cracking good entry and far from "mediocre" in my opinion and you're entitled to yours fll.

It's all about opinions Milan Happy
For me it's the weakest of the Scandi entries. I'd rate them Denmark > Finland > Norway > Sweden. Norway would be top if we were only judging on the song

I've not heard any of them yet. Don't really know enough about politics to get to involved.

Not great and very iffy live. Which is surprising as she was ok on XF

Azer the best of the female ballads for me.

Yep the facial hair is a bit of a ConfusedCrazyCry

Obviously will receive zero points from a few countries but i think she could score plenty of mid table votes, enough for a decent place

One of only a few songs that grabbed my attention on first hearing

i have Azer as a top 10 lay...a dreadfully morose dirge to my ears...i have Spain and Sweden way better.

The worry must be it will suffer because of the vote fixing allegations. Otherwise I'd have it as a shoo in for top 10

Only a short one. Somewhere 6 minutes away, as I like Italy & Finland

I suggest re-visiting Ruth's live performance, Milan - her vocal is really poor from about 2 minutes in, & this is when she is just standing still.
.

This becomes far worse & her vocal really falls apart when they create this shambolic choreography.

Don't think the above will be the choreo in Copenhagen but if it is, it should cause enormous mirth if nothing else Laugh

i'm sure you ffl could find another use for a Balaban...but use some ky jelly m8.
oh and johnny...the best vocalist in the contest getting thrown about and still sounding great, i'm really surprised by your comments.
i think this is fine, they've tried to copy the official video and it's a work in progress.

mmmmmmmm Mr Armenia is a homophobe it seems. He's just lost the gay vote. Probably just won the knuckle dragging east european vote though to balance it out. Not much of an ambassador as a winner seems to me. Time to lay the chunt methinks.

There's been a lot of comment on that and some Armenians have translated his interview and say that he said nothing of the sort. He said something like - that's not for me but each to his own. After reading a lot about Aram and seeing him interviewed I'd be very surprised if he made that rant against the Austrian.

Either way I don't think it will effect his chances.

Maybe he's been stitched up but anyone who doesn't find a bearded lady a turn on is just plain odd in my book.

I don't think there's any doubt his comments were Homophopic

It's anti-Armenian propaganda, likely to be coming from the Azerbaijan direction.

He's quoted as saying he meant it as a joke so probably said it. Be interesting to see the reponses he gets from audiences on his promo tour.

When: 31 Mar 14 18:30
Armenia now an ubelievabley short 1.9...seems to me they have "bought" a win this year...song ain't that great to merit such a ludicrously short price.
i have it as a well sung if mostly boring little love song, my 26-y-o dorta thinks likewise.
By:

When: 31 Mar 14 19:20
If Armenia does qualify for the final and Sweden too then if Armenia draws first half of final and Sweden draws second half of final then i can see both countries swapping positions in the betting odds. The betting odds will no doubt drift for any of the favourites that draws first half of the final.

If a country comes up with a spectacular stage plan they should shorten. More potential for the unusual, atmospheric ones like Armenia and Norway.
