Day 5, morning after third show. Early Wednesday morning (yesterday, day 4), news broke that Gemma had quit the show. She was trading around 15 at the time. Around 10pm yesterday news broke that Craig's brother had died of a heart attack and we than saw that Craig wasn't in the camp. He was trading in the high 5s and 6 range before this news. It was confirmed this morning that Craig had left the show and was flying back to the UK. It's also been announced officially that Jake & Edwina will be joining the jungle campers.
Jimmy Bullard.........2.98 - 3.05 Melanie Sykes..........3.65 - 3.7 Nadia Forde............12.5 - 13 (coming across well, steadily backed in) Tinchy Strider.........14 - 16 Jake Quickenden.........14 - 16 Carl Fogarty............15 - 15.5 Michael Buerk..........36 - 40 (had been as high as 65 before having an OK show yesterday) Edwina Currie..........36 - 40 Vicky Michelle..........65 - 75 Kendra Williamson.....70 - 75 Back % 100, lay % 94.4, Amount matched £311,795 |

Main takeaway IMO is the Bullard hasn't shortened as much as you'd expect given CC's withdrawal. A solid favourite would be trading between Evs and 6/4 at most by now. But the layers are still queuing up to take him on. Verdict - we still have a false favourite.

For reference, Last year's show started on Sunday 17th Nov and finished on Sunday 8th Dec, so lasted 22 days. The first elimination was on Sunday 1st Dec, which was day 15. There were 12 celebrities (we currently only have 10 after Gemma and Craig left) and there were double eliminations on day 17, 19 and 20.

Momentum change is unstoppable. Bullard matched at 6/4 last night. And now the HS bookies have caught up, 11/10 available now and heading north. Jake into 3/1 on the HS, and will soon flip flop with Bullard.
The 1/2 on Bullard for top male looks especially laughable now ![]() |

Day 15, Sunday morning after 12th show. First eviction tonight or tomorrow:
Jake Quickenden.......3 - 3.5 (trading mid 4s yesterday, shorted during last night's show on Jimmy's price drifting and being on the receiving end of Jimmy's "banter") Jimmy Bullard...........3.65 - 3.9 (*see below) Melanie Sykes...........5.5 - 6.4 Michael Buerk...........12.5 - 13 (had shortened to mid 20s during Friday's show, further shortening yesterday's show, some funny sarcastic remarks made) Carl Fogarty..............15 - 15.5 Edwina Currie...........20 - 23 (price collapse last night, was around 50 early evening, hit a low of 14 after the show + £36 matched at 12 **) Nadia Forde..............32 - 48 Kendra Williamson.....55 - 75 Tinchy Strider...........120 - 190 Vicky Michelle...........270 - 370 Amount matched £686,991 * During Friday night's show, Jimmy was in full on "entertaining" mode but was annoying most of the other campers and a lot of viewers in the process, yet was still trading in the 2.2s. He had drifted to around 2.5 by early evening yesterday, then during last night's show he was shown, what he classed as banter, giving Jake a hard time about not being famous, being quite spiteful. It came across awful, and the price swiftly increased. ** Edwina's price collapsed due to her firstly winning 8 stars after being voted for the latest trial, performing very well (a la Thatcher) then winning a team challenge (to decide who are up for first elimination) against Foggy. She was 33/1 Top Female with Laddies and 20/1 elsewhere yesterday before the show. |

First Elimination - Jimmy Bullard
Wasn't planning on keeping a record of elimination prices but Jimmy going 1st when he's been an odds on shot to win has got to be a first for any reality TV show ever. Last Prices Matched: Tinchy.....1.67 (lowest matched 1.22, highest 1.79) Jimmy......5 (lowest 4.1, highest 19.5) Carl.......5.7 (lowest 4.1, highest 15.5) Melanie....14 (lowest 8.4, highest 20) After trading in the 1.4s when the market opened previous evening, Tinchy had mostly traded in the 1.3s today, then 1.2s before drifting to 1.4s tonight when having a good show. Ant & Dec then revealed it was very close between the bottom 2 and he then immediately drifted to 1.7s Jimmy was mostly trading in the 8 to 12 range today before shortening to around 5 on the closeness news. Jimmy's last price matched in the Outright market before being eliminated was 6.6 £39,449 was matched on the 1st Elimination market |
