 5th Elimination - Duncan Bannatyne Duncan and Tony headed up the market. On Wednesday morning, after the Lady C news, they were both 5/4 on the High Street. Yesterday morning Duncan went clear fav, going odds on on Betfair. Tony trading around 2.6s/2.7s As the show was about to start, Duncan was 1.8s, Tony 2.8s, 20+ bar Duncan's lpm was 1.91. Highest matched 2.7, lowest £49 at 1.56, £50 at 1.6 then 1.67 upwards. His lpm in the outright was 110 The other "it might be you" was Tony, highest matched 3.25, lowest 2.12 & lpm 3 £20,274 matched (in the 2 day market) Friday, our day 20, after the 18th show. 3 more shows to come. IF they follow last year's pattern (when they also had 6 left at this stage) then there will be a double elimination tonight, one out tomorrow, one out early in Sunday's final leaving a final H2H. HOWEVER, they announced last year at the end of Thursday's show it would be a double the next night and they didn't say anything last night so who knows. Another clear jolly left the jungle last night Apart from a few quid being matched between 2.3 and 1.61 (just spikes), Big Tone (115kg to be precise) traded between 1.49 and 1.27, that 1.27 being the lpm Jorgie was 2nd fav, 5/1 in the morning, traded between 8 and 4.4, lpm 7.6 The other last prices matched were 16 George, 20 Kieron, 75 Ferne & 130 Vicky Tony's lpm in the outright was 150 Ferne was the alleged other "it might be you" Oops, forgot to note the exact final amount matched. It was around 18k Saturday, our day 21, after the 19th show No mention as lines reopened that tonight will be a double. A 4 person final would be a first. It was the Kieron show last night. In last night's 90 minute show we saw Scarlett and Carol do an eating disgusting animal parts trial and then the 4 "boisterous" boys do a very tedious morse code trial. Adam was a right wimp Viewers voted Joel for the next trial (some high up on a platform thing). Scarlett and Larry were exempt on "medical grounds"  Everyone was still getting on fine and dandy in the camp. Friday morning, day 6, after 4th show
Last night, we saw/learnt: Joel doing his trial, climbing up some ladder. Was very dull. All the trials have been dull so far, think it's a case we've seen them all so many times now  Wayne getting sad again about missing his kids, also announcing that he tends to overthink things Larry getting sad about a long lost daughter Lisa getting some airtime, lamenting about not having kids, didn't do her price much good though Danny & Martin enter the camp at the end of the episode. In last night's 90 minute show we saw/learnt: - Danny & Carol (team yellow) do some boring trial against Martin & Sam (team blue). In last night's show we saw: - Danny & Martin have a bit of a falling out when Martin objected to the yellow team's celebrations after winning the trial. This most minor of arguments set Scarlett off into floods of tears (again). Good grief. - Last night was the Martin show. We saw him do the trial, then slacking in his Getting Water role, being asked politely by Scarlett to no avail resulting in Danny having a go at him for ignoring Scarlett and generally being condescending to her. Last night we saw Adam do his trial, getting 11 out of 12 stars. He featurred a lot in the show and he and Danny were choosen by viewers for the next trial (Scarlett, Larry & Martin were exempt) - After Scarlett's sudden price drift early yesterday morning she remained volatile during the rest of the day, occasionally getting matched over 3, up to 3.5 & 3.6, but mostly trading in the 2.6 - 2.9 range - Adam, Joel & Larry all shortened taking up the slack. - Last night we saw Adam & Danny easily obtain all 12 stars. Later, all 12 campmates earned dingo dollars putting their heads in glass containers with various insects/animals inside - There was no vote for the next trial, everyone will participate with 4 becoming royalty and obtaining immunity from the first elimination, which I think will be on Friday's show - Adam continued to shorten yesterday, going sub 3 during the morning, shorter in the afternoon with a low of 2.56 matched. He was 2.66 - 2.7 pre show (Scarlett 3.3 - 3.45) but then slowly drifted back out during. As the show finished, he and Scarlett were both around 2.9. Friday morning, day 13, after 11th show. First elimination tonight
- Didn't do an update yesterday as early in the morning the prices weren't much different from the previous posting. However, around 9am yesterday, after some newspapers started publishing articles suggesting Scarlett had only had one shower in a week or something, she drifted back out to 3 with Adam taking favouritism again in the 2.7s (or maybe the cause was news of his blinding day in the camp starting to filter through) - at 1pm yesterday Adam was 2.8, Scarlett 3.3, Joel had shortened to 7s (and went shorter later in the afternoon, near 6), Larry 13 - Just before last night's show...Adam 2.6s, Scarlett 3.35, Joel 6.6, Larry 15, 32 bar In last night's show Adam & Martin mostly featured. Those two + Sam & Wayne were kings but in a drinking trial Joel (unsuccessfully) challenged Adam for his crown and Ola (successfully) challenged Martin. At the end of the show the viewers had voted for Adam and Wayne to be challenged again. The other campmates later choose Lisa & Scarlett to attempt this and we will see the subsequent events tonight. In short, Ola, Sam and two from Adam, Wayne, Lisa & Scarlett will be exempt from tonight's first elimination Adam had a terrific show last night, featured loads and came across excellently. The market didn't start to get busy on Betfair until during the show At 7pm Jordan & Lisa were in the 3 something to back, 4 something to lay wilst Danny & Carol were both 6 to back, 8 to lay During the show, several hundred pounds were put up trying to back Jordan, reducing in price, but this was even before the lines open Danny was matched at a high of 13, low of 4 which was also the last price matched (was 5 to back 5 minutes before lines closed) Jordan was matched between 4.6 and 2.1 (plus £8 at 2) with lpm 2.56 Lisa was matched between 4.1 and 2.9 with lpm 3.55 Carol was the other "it might be you".
