Zhang ended up winning 4-2 last night (I again bailed before the end).
Very little catches the eye today. The one that makes most appeal is Li Hang v Kyren. Prior to this season, Li was a player who won A LOT more matches than his scoring numbers suggested he should. The difference this season is that his scoring has improved markedly, too. Kyren's numbers are marginally superior this season, but not by enough to concern me. They've only met once in a proper tournament (they have met in the WST Pro Tour and the Shootout), back in October of last year, where Kyren edged a tight one 5-4. I've got no issues with Kyren being fav, but 1.4 to lay is on the skinny side for me. I think Jimmy R is slightly too big v Fergal (though not by a massive amount), same for Perry v Tubbs, and I have Kurt a clear fav v Scotty D, though Scotty D's game might not be ideal for Kurt. |

Morning lats
![]() I'm with you on Li. I recall that match v Kyren pretty well and Li had a couple of bad breaks against him, really was little enough in it and he's a touch big here for me. It definitely the one that leaps out. Fergal got his luck v thep but he's playing well and will take his chance if he gets it. Will have a look at Highfield too later, may have a little squeak against selby. Gl, hopefully a good and prosperous start to the day ![]() ![]() |

Morning, mate!
Have to take your word for that on that match. Can't say as it rings any bells with me at all, TBH. I ended up quite red on Theppy, so Fergal did me a favour! (or maybe that should be that Theppy did me a favour?!) Fergal was starting to annoy me with how long he was taking over each and every shot, as understandable as it was, I guess! There were just a few too many Theppy donations in the match for me. I nearly mentioned the Highfield match myself, I just think he's a bit of a bottle-job against higher-ranked players, though I doubt he knows many of them better than Selby. Have a good one yourself! ![]() |

It just rings a bell because i put Li in my one to note list from that match but i pretty much forgot about him until i saw this match up this morning.
I get where you're coming from on Fergal mate. Thep had two horror misses in the last, but that's him, honestly know idea how he keeps his ranking so high, he can lose to anyone. Jimmy R is a more solid player so I'd agree he's very fairly priced. Am a Fergal fan for personal reasons so couldn't bet against him, but definitely wouldn't put you off opposing him! |

Just looking at his results for the last season and a half, and by Christ, he's had some favourable draws, too!

2-0 Butch, 3-0 Kyren, 1-1 Clarke

Thep had one very good season but problem is he's losing all those points now and he'll need to win a few more matches to guarantee his card. I like fast exciting players but he's just far too cavalier most of the time, one out of 5 he'll blow someone decent away but good players won't pass up the chances he gives them.
Wish I'd forgot about Li for another day. Annihilation in progress here ![]() |

71% pot success for Li, mate. You can't account for that. He's better than that.
2-1 Butch, 1-1 Mugthew |

Yeah, may not like the mornings lats! Always wonder if you compiled stats about 10am starts, who'd have the worst figures. 1.01 mags be in top 3

LOL! I nearly mentioned that in that reply above! I don't, but I suspect there very definitely would be a correlation for some people! And yes, Mags would defo be up there!

Slessor blew an incredible chance to steal for frame and match and then went in off, leaving himself needing snookers. 3-3 Butch, barring snookers. |

Does Highfield's hair tilt anybody else? It was a $hit style when it was supposedly in fashion two decades ago.

Regardless of his hair, he does me a favour there. Steals after Selby missed virtual frame ball.
