Desperate, error-strewn first frame between Slessor and Emery goes Slessor's way. Not sure Emery can win if the rest of the frames play out as scruffily as that. 1-0 Slessor.

What an unbelievable mug-fest this is, and BFLV has ended for the Emery match
4-1 JB |

Literally no words. Emery loses 3-4 from 1-4, including being over the line in frame 5. So many chances wasted by both. Shocking.

Jeez lats, sounds like you got mugged with emery last night, though i imagine he must've traded v low at some point. Was a great shout regardless, these kids have to learn how to manage and close out matches.
Have to say not much leaping out at me today. Watched MJW yday and not inspired and mindful he doesn't have brilliant record here, did get to sf last year, mind. Against that, nothing more i hate than investing in a guy like maflin and see him turn up and playing like he'd rather be anywhere else. Will probably play smallish, so as not to have any regrets! Yuan would be opposable though his results have picked up of late and holty could give ding a run but latter needs to pick up ranking points so have to think he'll put it together enough. Will probably play Fergal and Dark Mavis in some form as well as obligatory lay on Ali ![]() ![]() |

Glad I called it quits when I did last night. Si's victory didn't come until 0130, according to snooker.org (4-3)
Two winners, two beaten 4-3s (3.75 & 4.5), and a well-beaten Pang (who I didn't really see much of - I was too busy tearing my hair out watching Emery blow chance after chance v Slessor) yesterday. Don't think there's too much value about today. Steadman is scoring better than ever this season and is playing well enough to take advantage if Judd plays anything like he did yesterday. They have met already this season, though, and Judd dry-humped him 4-0. Purely on the numbers, Steadman is too big, but there's a lot to temper confidence. Similar comments apply to Soheil Vahedi - too big on the numbers; do I think he wins or even goes close? No. Kurt IS outscoring MJW this season, and is playing well enough if MJW doesn't take his chances. They've only met 3 times in their careers, and one of those was in the CL. It's 1-1 aside from that. Kurt IS definitely too big. On the numbers, Wakelin is too big v 2Pt, but he's only ever won one frame in 12 played v Jack. Ng is a play against Ali at double figures, and while he should win, as we discussed yesterday, if things start going against him, he could implode spectacularly [crosses fingers] |

Morning mate, I really wish the forum worked as advertised!
Emery traded down to 1.02 (and I got some - and 1.03), so it wasn't a disaster, but I wanted to be right having made him my bet of the day! Good to see we are on the same page with Kurt/MJW, and Ali! Be lucky! |

Frustrating on emery mate, but keep making those calls and you get more right than wrong at good odds! Pang was disappointing as he was in first with proper chances each of first 4 frames, ridiculous he wasn't 2-0 up which would have nailed an acca for me
![]() Yeah Ali likely win, but he's 10 ticks too short for me. When she turns up wearing the mask, that'll annoy the fck out of him straight away and that'll just be the start of it ![]() ![]() |

Lovely start, mate
Ali matched at 1.03 ![]() ![]() The market really does think she's terrible, and she's not (NB that doesn't necessarily mean she will win). 1-0 Ng.1-0 Mann over Hancorn, 1-0 Hossein over LMEY, 1-0 McLeod over Yuan |

Ali pots first red and he was 1.05
![]() She's tidy and very good potter. Lacks some power and can be loose safety wise, otherwise she's not a million miles off and players will under estimate her until they finally learn. |

She was ok for a frame and a half but she did unravel a bit today. Despite not being anywhere near her best today, she still got him out to 1.3x from a starting point of 1.07/1.08 and we did get a nice bit of "muttering" from The Captain!
