Feck me Banks infiltrates the Rugby Forum and supports the Status Quo...THIS MAN IS AN ESTABLISHMENT STOOGE..and will support anything that does not contravene Health And Safety.....He has been hounded off the Horse-racing forum and appears in his new role as pitch safety adviser...

By:

When: 11 Feb 12 20:04
May well be the correct decision, but it's taken them until right up to kick off to work that out.

I suppose that the fans dont matter at all in these instances. Irish people travel across the sea at great expense only to be massively let down.

While it may well be the correct decision as regards the players welfare, its nothing short of a disgrace that the authorities let the decision run to 5 mins before kick off, the expense incurred by irish and french fans who travelled long distances to the game and are now effectively shafted.

poor show from the FFR and holes should be kicked for this debacle

But surely the players welfare is the main point. No point keeping the crowd happy, but people picking up career threatening injuries.
It could(and should)have been called off much earlier, but it's still the correct decision.

to true b68, the fans will be well outta pocket when it could have been cancelled yesterday with the predicted forecast & saved folk travelling today, b'stards!

What on earth is this crap on the box? Got to go to the pub now, it's the only option left. Has Tammy Wynette's face melted by the way?

ballaman - I would be fuming if I was an Ireland fan in Paris. How much has that cost them only to get messed around all the way to kick off? I don't think refunds or free tickets for the next fixture will cut it.

Can you imagine if someone did a tip tackle(which as we know happens) on bone hard ground ?
By:

When: 11 Feb 12 20:14
There's nothing wrong with the cancellation stewards. It's the timing that is absurd. It's not like a sudden and unpredictable storm has swept in, it's just as cold as was forecast.
