But they never postpone Six Nations matches....Well every 25 years or so..Why not play tomorrow as soon as the pitch is playable ??

Stewards i have no problem with the game been called off on safety reasons, but it was fecking freezing there all week and they still persisted with a night time kick off in a stadium that has no under soil heating.

then they tell the fans to hold on to their tickets as they will be valid for the next game, how many of the fans had thrown away their ticket in the first bin that they came to, aahh sure the fans dont count, well not the ordinary ones anyway.!!!

there was about 2 or 3 guys on the pitch with blowers trying to melt the ice, why not have 30 or 40 guys doing it all day? truth is they dont give a shi@ bout the rugby fans imo

I love the fact that nobody had the cojones to get behind the mike and tell the natives that the game was off for almost 20 minutes after the official decision had been made.
PA announcement at 21.11.
Does anyone know if the overtime rates for a Parisian riot police officer are as generous as those enjoyed by The Met in London?

Refund please Betfair, the reason I had a wager was because of the tricky ground conditions, still I guess you will be holding all the monies waged for a few days just to get interest,a bit like a Solicitor? Whoops

that means that if the game is replayed on friday march 2nd that Ireland and France will now have to play matches 4 weekends in a row.

Advantage Wales to win the championship

3. ABANDONMENTS, CANCELLATIONS, POSTPONEMENTS

Fellas,I'm not saying calling it off so late was not a shambles(I'm sure I blamed the French somewhere in this thread fo playing at a stadium without any under soil heating, this is the 3rd year in a row we've had snow in Feb)
I'm just saying from player safety it was the correct thing to do(and it would probably have been no sort of game to watch on an Ice Rink anyway)

I might be being daft but what's wrong with replaying the game tomorrow? Rather than leaving it for three weeks.
By:

When: 11 Feb 12 22:05
Yes why not play 2moro?? because the vested Interests don't want to eg tv and sponsors.

Now its going to be on a Friday Night?? why not next weekend not 3 weeks or whatever down the line.

Could not make it up tbh...Cry

I guess tomorrow (as in today now) was not really an option due to risk that exactly the same thing happened with a forecast no higher than zero.

Next week didn't sound like an option either as Stade v Toulon is on in this stadium.

Still it's a nice bonus for us armchairers and come March 2nd we will all be excited again.  Both teams having to back up 4 weeks on the bounce though is not good.  Adv Wales and probably helps Eng a tad too.
