Have to go back to 2000 for Irelands last victory in France.People really are putting faith in a dire pitch.
By:
Blind Irish faith
same as last week. |
By:
If I'm gonna play I need to do it on match odds(never touch the French on handicaps)
I just can't bring myself to lay France.I need to turn off my laptop I think. |
By:
this is starting to look a bit dire
no happy faces there as they look at the pitch |
By:
Tis is going to be called off, if not at the start then maybe half time.
By:
surely these blowers will just thaw it out a bit and then in 30 mins the same patch will be rock hard?
By:
I'd be sweating a bit if I had money tied up in this(May as well start a bit of panic
) |
By:
Not being a betfair rules junkie what are the rules concerning points hcap etc if games isnt fully completed?
By:
Void I think, but then you have to wait 3 days before funds are returned to see if the game was replayed in the 3 days I think. If it was then bets would stand.
By:
3 day rule will apply, there's no specific rulings for 6 nations & from what i've read A-A at h/t is same ruling as before ko
By:
I thought that, but played a college football game a while back which was called of early 4th q, and was on overs and settled as a loss
By:
France +5.5 pts @ 1.17, easy money.
By:
Result stands after 60 mins.
By:
Result stands after 60 mins
where did you see that? pls |
By:
This is a joke. Did they really think it would thaw at this time of night??
By:
This is a joke. Did they really think it would thaw at this time of night??
By:
Yeah, but if they start the 2nd half they would finsh the game.I couldn't see them calling it off after 60 minutes.
By:
think he got that from comms but in respect of 6N, not betfair
By:
Gonna be called off I think.
By:
This is not going 2 start
By:
BBC said it was the rule but you'd want to probably see some kind of rule on an official website.
Couple of bookies I have read will void bets if full game not played. Could all get very messy. The longer they p*ss about the harder this pitch well get as well which doesn't help. |
By:
Furrelli, sorry mate, this is as far as the game is concerned, ive not read Betfairs rules, but they normally settle on the official result.
By:
if its called off, hope they rearrange for tommoz, have a nice double header
By:
Easy to say now I know. But with the freak weather conditions we have started to have over the last 5-6 years to play it at a stadium with no under soil heating is a bit of a farce.
By:
I doubt they could play it tomorrow either unless they have a team working overnight with blowers - forecast to be no higher than zero at any stage tomorrow.
By:
The 60 min rule applies at a lower level certainly.
By:
Betfair's rules are not difficult. If a match is called off, they can give it up to three days before refunding the bets. Usually, as soon as they know when the match is rescheduled for, if at all, then they refund them - often it is the next day.
By:
we know that SOA
the main query is what happens if we get going and the game is then called off |
By:
MATCH OFF
By:
Off. That's some **** up.
By:
OK now we are off
fingers crossed for tomorrow |

I run a rugby club, have done for years, we played last week
By:
Ireland get the game called off typical.
By:
How the **** can you cancel the match 6 mins before kick off, if there was any doubt they should have called it off hours ago, ridiculous
By:
What a bunch of ****.If that match was at Wigan RLFC and was live on Sky it would have been played....And an International Stadium without undersoil heating.......
By:
had to be really, oh well thats my pennies tied up for 3 days that I didnt manage to sqr out.
hindsite... why oh wny are we playing on a pitch w/o undersoil heating in February with a NINE o'clock KO |
By:

By:
