Good grief PP have paid out on the draw in this game. Nice ploy that as anybody backing the draw at their odds must be a total mug and therefore has to be protected

What really worries me Vis, is how do you know that PP paid out on the draw, did you pick it up at 19/1 & hope that you might be able to lay it off at half time aT 13/1 & tuck some 'free money' into your pocket :-)

The word is that Reddan went against kidneys plans against england last year and that is why kidney is reluctant to start him, yes i know we won that game and i know that reddan was clearly instrumental in speeding up the game when he came on last week.
i used to hate reddan, but he appears to have got rid of the steps prior to the pass that infuriated me, i think that murray may have them now, . cant understand why he doesnt start against france, and although i rate o callaghan for all the unseen unglamerous work he does in the tight, it goes against everything to play him ahead of ryan when he cant get into the munster team for all of kidneys talk of picking players on form , its clearly just spoof talk. |

Not a Kidney fan but he is often quoted as saying he picks on form, past performances and a players particular role in the team as a whole.

Would have picked Reddan and Ryan myself, but I can't fault Kidney so much for this match. Let's be honest, Ireland are not going to go over to Paris and look to open the game up from the first whistle. Murray is clearly in there for his physicality and, with his size advantage, he might just be able to unsettle Parra. Ryan has looked good when he's come on in both matches, but the work DOC does in defence is hugely underrated. Nobody in the Ireland squad hits rucks harder and he is very effective at slowing down opposition ball.

I never gave Ireland much hope in the first game,but these refixture conditions will only suit France imo.
Agree with the Irish lads about Reddan,not sure what he has to do to start  However Big Dunc has a valid point in that Ireland are gonna need to slow the game down for damage limitation  |

Refixture definitely suits Ireland imo, We are much more confident with the Italian performance under our belts, whereas France look more vulnerable if anything, after Murrayfield.
That said, very hard to see an Irish victory. |

 It seems that the Ireland side has finally got the memo: Don't allow France to build up a head of steam early and you have a real crack at it. For all France's ability, they are still a fragile team. I give Ireland a much better chance of winning in Paris than I have done for many a year. |

However, if you are comparing it to England at 3.1 the following week, then I know which one I would rather be on. |

Like Vis, I don't see Ireland being a decent price today,infact I think they are very much underpriced.Although Ireland have ran France close with a couple of 1 score defeats I think you have to go back 12 years since Ireland last beat them in France.

3.9 for a team that hasn't won away against the opposition in 12 years and has only won twice in 42 years(not sure how many games but at least 20) thats a standout lay for me. was expecting to see Ireland at 5.0 at the very least. even at that price they are a lay for me

My problem is that although I think Ireland are a lay,I'd actually like them to win the game.So now I'm left with the dilema of whether I wanna put my money where my mouth is and cheer on the Frenchies,or just leave the game alone totally and just sit back and hope the Irish can some how find a way to win.

Why not have a couple of mug tryscorer bets with PP and then if Ire win you get money back on your losing bets? Gives you added interest as you watch the game.
Or back Wales in outright - that gets a nice boost today if Fra get beaten and only really suffers if Fra blow the Irish away? |

i would not usually get involved with a bet like this but may have a shekel or two on an Ireland try for first scoring play @ 8/1.
The Irish usually like a fast start while the French can take a while to warm up and got caught early last week. |
