panic over 18 C here sun in the Sky lovely Breeze . Going back to 76 I can remember that extremely hot period lasting Weeks ,Stand pipes were in use etc

A common event that tinfoil hat wearing climate change deniers latch on to
and use as a benchmark is the UK summer of 1976. In climate terms, UK summer of '76 was a localised blip, 1976 doesn't even register as an unusual year in global terms. Really struggling to see how that comment is "denying" climate change, but that's the lefties mindset, try and twist others words any way they can to suit their agenda.

Those of us old enough to remember '76 will know that the great hoax of the time was 'global cooling'. When that lie was exposed, the hoax became 'a hole in the ozone layer'. Again, once we weren't all aerosoled to death by next week, the hoax was changed to 'global warming'. Seeing as we didn't all frazzle up, they've recently had to resort to the latest catch-all phrase, 'climate change'!
