I'm not convinced that increasing our own population by 20% in 30 years has helped towards our net zero target tbh.The planet needs less damaging parasites (people), no one wants to discuss it. I can't understand why that is so.
To be fair, scientific advances may do harm. All these drugs and treatments now meaning heart disease, diabetes and even cancer can be managed or even cured.
UK life expectancy has risen nearly ten years since the summer of 76. All those elderly infirm people who would normally be dropping off quite quickly are now sticking around for decades, filling up homes and costing the country billions in care.

Left is Latin for sinister!?!?
No, it was a bunch of people 2,000 years ago claiming left handed people were sinister, and possessed by evil.
Stands to reason that a magaloon would not only believe these snake oil salesmen, but take take it to the next level and claim it as a fundamental truth that all things "leftist", like the NHS, pensions, minimum wage are evil.
Never forget my harris, you don't even know what you're supposed not to forget.
