Former Post Office boss Paula Vennells has been accused of living in "la-la land" by a lawyer representing sub-postmasters.
Speaking at the inquiry into the Horizon scandal, Edward Henry grilled Ms Vennells on how much she knew about remote access to sub-postmasters' computers. He also pressed Ms Vennells on how fallout from the scandal could have upset the Royal Mail stock market flotation in 2013. |

The inquiry’s chair, Sir Wyn Williams, a former high court judge, had earlier in the session said MacLeod had refused to attend the inquiry or appear remotely and that he was unable to compel her to do so as she lived in Australia.

Think it was Tim McCormack that emailed her saying she would face a public enquiry and have to answer these questions and also what God she believed in.
The thing is, guarantee what was said in the rooms behind closed doors and not recorded will be more shocking. |

SADDO, i had some sympathy for Veenells, still do in a way, she was in a job that whoever employed her should be sacked, she didnt have a clue i believe that, but isnt that the case in most ceo these days, box ticking, , but most of us havent a clue what happened at work last month let alone 10 yeards ago, but that email is damning agree shocker
