Agree, Tories and Labour are the opposite cheeks of the same ar5e. They don't deserve our votes.

I don't agree with lfc about Vennells being innocent but there is a sort of point in his posts.
It sounds to me as though there were a number of people as guilty as her,other executives,lawyers,PR people,some employed by Fujitsu,possibly some politicians of all parties that have been in govt in the last 25 years. There is a danger that Vennells becomes the scapegoat for the lot of them.

These people are usually men. Beaten and buggered at Public Schools to the point they are pitiless and ruthless and immoral.

They are all in it together. If is a conspiracy. They seem more than happy to throw her to the dogs to save themselves. Should we show her pity for that? What remorse has she expressed gif the innocent victims? She is sorry for herself only.

She was one of the people responsible in sending an innocent pregnant woman to jail.

I hope they all go down and if she is the first let her squeal like a pig and bring the others down with her.

Not sure scapegoat is the correct word.

Even if you take her evidence at its best and at face value she was the head honcho who presided over the organisation that did everything during her tenure. She was paid a lot of money to be the one in charge and that comes with a level of culpability for what happens on her watch and by those below her.

A thinly veiled I was incompetent, mismanaged the place and shoudld'nt really have been in that position doesn't cut it.

scapegoat/sacrificial lamb isn't usually used to refer to someone at the top of the tree for obvious reasons.

The goat/lamb reference should make that obvious.

lfc surely there needs to be some repercussions for the lawyers and management board that concealed all this and pressed on knowingly with wrongful convictions, otherwise where is the incentive for them to act responsibly in the future.

100's of SPM's lives ruined, some dead.

If there is no detriment to them, it will give further incentive for people at the top to put profits / reputation of a business above all else and hope it never comes to light... if what you say happens they don't need to worry as the government will pick up the tab. If they get away with it then profits etc will increase and they will get bonuses etc.

lfc .... Hasn't it been established from the evidence that she mislead MP's who were trying to get to the bottom of the scandal.

What would you say that is? Knowingly misinforming MP's who were trying to sort out the scandal and get justice for the SPMs so that the PO brand / profits wouldn't be eroded.

The emails prove the PO and she was aware of various things despite giving assurances to MPs that they didn't happen.
