I agree. Anyone. Post Office, Civil Service or Government. There has to be an "audit trail", so to speak, sourceable/findable/detectable, of who did what and who decided what was going to be done.
But is there the WILL to do so? This clown Sunak, on his feet and on tv last night used the phrase " I just want to see this out the door", sic. What a despicably crass thing to say. |

Vennells allowed (maybe even actively encouraged) the prosecutions to take place.
Then, when she was called to Parliament to testify under oath she actually emailed folk to find out the truth. Don't want to lie under oath... Ha ha ha. She clearly sh1t herself when discovering the truth she hadn't bothered to discover when prosecuting others in court. Then tried her best to hide the truth from parliament. |

But right throughout a business or company or factory At all levels ,, the system failed and people were caught up in the mess and madness Because they didn’t understand what they were doing or what was happening |

People at the Post office and Fujitsu certainly knew what was happening, they were protecting their own reputation at the expense of hundreds of ordinary working folk. They deserve some jail time and huge personal financial loss. |

If they knew what was happening they would have been correct
and been proven correct when it went to court But they didn’t know , they were wrong but thought they knew That’s why they went to court - not because they knew what was happening but because they didn’t |

Yes aspro ,, but the problem is with computer technology
and indeed with any electronic system these were intermittent random faults over a vast number and area Like ghosts in the machine when they can’t be seen they are difficult to face and fix .. the temptation is to believe they don’t exist That left the other option Which I have explained on the other thread .. didn’t actually make sense |

Well, with so much exposure they should be able to get to the bottom of it now, but I'm doubtful a satisfactory conclusion will arise.

If the drama was factual, Fujitsu had a squad of people working overnight 'correcting' system errors, any they missed or couldn't get round to became theft on the part of the employee.

When you work on anything of that nature - as a function tester/ fault finder , diagnostician it’s your job to make
sure there are no faults after you have finished your shift night or day and before you sign your name to it If you’re good nothing escapes , it can almost become like a sixth sense to recognise some , it’s a black art ps it’s always good to work together with someone else on these sorts of things If you are sympatico with each other in how you work and complement -doesn’t mean being the same but one might see something the other doesn’t that’s the best way |

Fujitsu claimed the system worked perfectly. If it did why were people working every day and night to rectify system errors without the knowledge of the postmasters and -it is claimed- without the knowledge of the Post Office management.

The common wisdom has all pub landlords watering beer and taking profit from the bandit.. I suppose the post office software could have been introduced because they suspected sub pist masters were on the fiddle.... Now the software has caught them.... Perhaps, maybe, dunno, but Group think goes a long way sometimes. |
