Care to explain which figure you are using for U.K. summer averages? Also what does your meaningless waffle of “well below “ actually mean? Is it 1C? 5C? 10C? This link (they do exist outside the shiny hat flatearth universe) suggest that London July average temps are 23 max & 14 min.
