FACT CHECKER
Trump’s false or misleading claims total 30,573 over 4 years

https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/2021/01/24/trumps-false-or-misleading-claims-total-30573-over-four-years/
.

When The Washington Post Fact Checker team first started cataloguing President Donald Trump’s false or misleading claims, we recorded 492 suspect claims in the first 100 days of his presidency. On Nov. 2 alone, the day before the 2020 vote, Trump made 503 false or misleading claims as he barnstormed across the country in a desperate effort to win reelection.

This astonishing jump in falsehoods is the story of Trump’s tumultuous reign. By the end of his term, Trump had accumulated 30,573 untruths during his presidency — averaging about 21 erroneous claims a day.

What is especially striking is how the tsunami of untruths kept rising the longer he served as president and became increasingly unmoored from the truth.

Yep, that was one of the main reasons that under Trump, the GOP lost not only the White House but the Senate and House also.

Sure is. Some modellers have already moved a couple of seats from toss up to likely Democrat. You can't win seats when only a quarter or so of the electorate support the candidate and independents/moderates won't vote for them. The GOP is hopelessly split and will continue to be so while Trump is still around.

Mad prices about if you shop around. Backed Dems at 2.5 and layed it off at 1.4.

It's now clear that after the incredible result in the abortion referendum in Kansas last night and the generic polls released today that the Roe Wade decision by the Supreme Court is having a major bearing on folks voting intention and greatly increased turnout. Democrats benefitting all round and now they are looking at House and Senate seats that initially might have been a bridge too far but now are clearly in play. 538 model has been updated today to give Democrats a 58-42 chance of controlling the Senate.

Yep, the Trump MAGA control roughly half of the GOP and traditional centre right conservatives the other half. You can't win elections with a completely split party, no matter how weak the opposition is perceived to be.

all the republicans have to do to win the 2024 presidential election is not run trump or someone who talks like him. the economy will still be in tatters and whenever that happens in america the party not in office wins. trump however turns a crucial 5% of floating voters off because of the way he behaves.
biden will not run. his mental capacity is just not there and one wonders what it will be like in 2024. kamala is doubtful also but i do think she could beat trump. she couldnt beat anyone else. some people just dont come across well when they speak and she is one of those people. shes not as bad as people think. shes just a terrible communicator. i think her problem is shes pretending shes a lefty. she has been doing this for years as a california senator. its the only way you can win there and now the dems have gone so left wing she feels she needs to continue with the pretence.
very few of these democrats are very left wing. they all love money like everyone else. its just that the dems have been taken over by left wing activists and you have to appease them. the biggest example of this is gavin newsom who is the fakest person ever. no way does he believe in these far left policies in california.

One huge advantage that the Democrats have in the Senate Midterm elections is they have experienced campaigners in key battleground races Arizona, Georgia, Pennsylvania and Ohio against four Republicans who have next to no experience. That is being reflected in the opinion polls and picking up all four of these seats for the Democrats is realistic.

Quite. What sort of charges is she going to place? If she is winning, why on earth would she try and get the election declared void/rerun? I don't get it at all.
