@pp there might be people with trades linked to state betting and EC votes.
@IT don't you have some humble pie to eat? |

Sure apologies to JB.

People need to take a step back and read carefully instead of always being eager to signal their faux outrage.

To be clear, QAnon believers are *giddy* that Trump says he has COVID, because COVID is fake, so Trump is actually pulling a power move on the deep state, who think COVID is real because they created it as a power move on Trump.
That means Hillary is getting arrested. |

He is now unable to complete his duties as Commander in Chief and the VP should assume command. He could be a superspreader in the Government and if Pence goes down, Nancy's in charge.

Yahoo! I always knew that £2 on Nancy at 1000 would come in handy

White house staff apparently found Trump nailed to the floor of the Oval office. He had been hammered with tacks.

Donald Trump mocks Hillary Clinton over her pneumonia outbreak ![]() |

I don't think people should see that as justification to mock Trump.
Where they go low, we go high! |

Strange that people think this is something to make jokes about.
No surprise IT, this is what many people are like. Writing anonymously on the Internet allows them show their natural feelings without any comebacks. |

Well that was unexpected.

Prince Charles was reported to have tested positive for the virus, but recovered with little bother.
They cited his fitness as the reason, which seems unlikely if we observe the way he carries himself, his weight, his baggy eyes and his ruddy complexion. The virus simply doesn't going in some people regardless of the shape they're in. Same applies to Trump visually, he looks in very bad shape. If the virus takes hold he'll be in big trouble the same as Boris was. And our well wishes go out to him. |

edy, i agree, but we must always be aware of Greeks bearing gifts.

Gawn China

By:
No, we shouldn't be blatantly xenophobic and stereotypical towards Greeks like that. They, too, are somewhat resembling humans, and some are even good people.

A woman I know tested positive and recovered at home. She was sleeping 23 hours a day.
Her husband who is in his seventies looking after her, six feet tall and 19 stone, had no symptoms. A later x-ray showed scarring on her lungs. Which they said was the result of pneumonia from the virus. |

Melanie will be alright. She did The Art of the Deal on The Donald and got a better divorce deal for The Baron, hopefully not Hope Hicks that is written into his will.

There's no doubt she had the virus, and there's no doubt her husband was well exposed to it.
Yet despite his vulnerability, he didn't fall ill. Some people even in the danger groups just don't get infected. Take residents in a care home, if one gets it they're all going to get it. Yet they don't all fall ill as far as I know. |

Betfair's behaviour in these political markets is becoming untenable. It's supposed to be a betting exchange, but they also trade on their own exchange and the suspension of the Next President market is probably to protect Betfair traders' positions, not customers. The exchange should be completely independent of Betfair's trading arm.
One/both of the candidates getting covid and/or pulling out was always a strong possibility, and my bets on the market factored that in. Betfair is ignoring their own rules, or making up the rules as they go along, there's a massive conflict of interest in the way they are behaving. They pulled similar shenanigans with Theresa May's resignation market. |
|
By:
There has also been speculation about a delayed election, but this is highly unlikely because voting is already underway.
While the Constitution does not specify an election date, moving the poll would require an act of Congress including support from the Democratic-controlled House of Representatives. |

The market is LOCK LIMIT DOWN. Surely all Biden backers have to do is REJOICE!

|

One thing in favour of a suspension is that a biden positive test would be a big impact insider info risk. So maybe reasonable to wait for a week from the debate.
