BRUSSELS (Reuters) - Leaders of the NATO allies will hold a summit in December in London, Jens Stoltenberg, the Western military alliance’s secretary general, said in a statement on Wednesday. The choice of location has added symbolism, as Britain prepares to leave the European Union next month while asserting that it will retain a key role in the continent’s security. Oh how things change, the return of Trump and the UK will still be a member of the EU.

December makes no sense for the Tories' older vote who are unlikely to venture out after dark. A winter GE will almost certainly lead to a low turnout. That's risky for all concerned. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

obviously for a kick off seems a record number are retiring cos they can't stomach the direction either the tories and labour are heading. SNP will pick up 15 in scotland mostly off the tories. lib dems will get back a lot of the seats they used to hold in the south west. most of those switching sides will get booted out. not a good look to voters bit of an imponderable how brexit may affect labour in the midlands and north. a lot of people always seem very reluctant to vote anything other than labour no matter how angry they are or how incompetent the current leader might be but voters up there much more pished off than the labour leadership seem to realise. may lose something like 40 seats from 2017 | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
