Now I know very little about this brexit and the possible ramifications down along the road. But I do know one thing and that wilddan is a very dangerous man when it comes to portraying facts , I do know from experience that he has plenty previous in this area.

The people running big business , the brains of society , the people who get out of bed in the morning and work their socks off, they wanted to remain , but they have been outnumbered by the anti mindset, the handout men , and surely it cannot be a good thing in the short term or for that matter , the long term either.

Yesterday shows exactly where England in particular lies in relation to the rest of the world . Those voting to leave have done so mainly on an emotional basis , largely associated with immigration .

The EU has defects , some major , freedom of movement among the biggest defects .  OK for tourism , but when it comes to participation in other country's economy it gets tricky and fractious . Over regulation also a huge problem , the sensible countries just paid nodding acquaintance and got on with their own handle on it .

The million or so Poles who live and work in Britain must be wondering where their future lies .  I like the Poles , generally civil and hard working , even those carrying out frustratingly relatively menial jobs for which they are over qualified .

The effect of the leave vote in economic terms has yet to start kicking in . Peoples lives largely revolve around jobs , housing , income vs expenditure . All up for grabs in the short / long term . Anyone sold a house today at asking price ? Those in negative equity ( lots , mainly young ) may just grit their teeth and curse their luck , but they are effectively trapped for longer .

Scotland will be pushing for independence hard , if they had that vote today they would be voting yes in huge numbers .  They must be seriously regretting losing most of their oil and gas reserves , for what ?

Northern Ireland implications also huge , possibility of back to the bad old days of "border" regulations . Not sure the unionist population thought through their attitude to yesterdays vote , from their point of view it does nothing to cement the beloved "union" . The opposite probably .

Dan, ultimately this is going to make no difference to somebody who has their kids reared and has 3/4 of their life lived.
