He is 7 shots ahead Slick. Hoff doesnt matter. What price would you make him? He is as big he is, because people prefer to lay an odds on shot. How many times out of ten would you expect Jordan to convert from here??

I'm not saying he is over the line, far from it. But I wouldnt be a layer. It will be very interesting if he starts poorly, one over through 4 or so. That will test him.

He had a lucky 1st round. He's only 21. Has played 36 of 72 holes. Due a bad round. If you wanna take the guts of 4-7 the best of luck to ya.

I know there are some of those infamous traders thinking of trading out on McIlroy, don't.
He is in a groove and will devour the thirteenth and fifteenth, will be single figures before nightfall.

I wont be backing it Slick. But win or lose I don't think he too short as it stands.

Accept he is very young but very consistent lately, 5 shots to second and 7 to 3rd is a good lead in calm conditions,i'd find it hard to back against him, hoping he does come back as the cream are now ganging up and it could be a classic. Go Phil.
Tiger surprised me with his show here,i couldn't have backed him with stolen, pleased to see it though.

Pa, if you have gone to the trouble of stealing it, you should always then treat it as your own!!

I am absolutely delighted with Tigers showing. Livingston visibly sick. And all the other twats that had written off the greatest sportsman of our generation. I am making it my business to attend Augusta next year. Money couldn't buy watching the Great Man winning another green jacket.

Take Spieth out, and the golfing world would be creaming themselves at the leaderboard and the prospect of what lies ahead!!

McIlroy ignores the water and drills it close at the eleventh,he's making it look easy.

Not his best but still think he has another three or four birdies in him.

Ten under will be right there.

Phil means business.

Great to see Tiger fist pump that par putt. He still believes. I misses that fist pump. One of the greatest sights in sport.

Watching on BBC2 BUT still get the impression the tv editors are showing the European poor shots while showing the US players only in good light.

Anyone notice same ?

Today in the afternoon of 11th April 1912, the Titanic picks up her last 123 passengers at Queenstown County Cork, Ireland.
Joining the 2,105 already on board are 113 who will travel in 3rd class, 7 for 2nd class, and 3 as 1st class passengers.

Think RORY's ship also has sailed, maybe long before that bogey on another critical hole #18.

Titanic time all right , buried in a frenetic sporting weekend ( except for the Boat race , who was ever interested in it apart from those taking part ? ) .

Pack chasing Spieth have tightened up a bit , still wouldn't be backing him at 1.47 or so given the history of final days at Augusta .  He played well today , keeping it together tomorrow will be the trick .

Great to see Tiger back in some sort of shape and in contention for high placement , hope he is paired with Rory tomorrow , that could be great craic even if its not for the gold medal .

Pleasure watching the Zen Master Spieth get around the course.  So calm, so controlled, so natural.

Never seen such a talent with the flat stick.

Hard to see Phil not having one bogey today, probably two and that will cost him.  If Rose does start well tomorrow, he will feel confident about the back 9.

But only one winner.  The Boy Wonder. If the do get to him, he has the talent to pull away.  Have been a big fan of his since he emerged and hope he posts a record winning score today and goes on to shred other golfing records.

As regards the Boat race, Kelly, its a tremendous get together day for Alumni of Oxbridge who live in London.  Big crowds along the river and high jinks in a few well positioned riverside pubs.  Always a great day.

Accept that aspect of it Ozy , good weather a big help if it occurs .  But the rest of the world is not in the least bit interested ( thats part of the reason it still appears on the BBC , nobody else wants it , which unfortunately is what the BBC sport legacy has become ).

"World" sporting events should have been ring fenced by successive governments of whatever outlook  , events such as international soccer , rugby , cricket , athletics etc should be available on terrestrial TV as well as more extended ( possibly) coverage set up by the commercial TV providers .

BBC had The Masters last night , coverage was more or less exactly the same as on Sky --I had both on side by side , only slight editorial changes / timings which are largely irrelevant except for those betting on the event . Thats the way all these "national treasure" should be controlled .  Interesting to find out the percentages of viewing audiences last night on The Masters in GB and I .

Its the one time of the year that world class rowing gets a prime time slot on TV.  I don't think it takes from or displaces any other events in the BBC schedule.

Good late shouts from yourself on this one Callit,(top 10 Rory and Mickleson w/0) Think there is a little meat on the bone on Phils exch price of 2.9 on the latter,it looks a 3 horse race and Hoffman is rightly the "rag".Not being in the final group is imo an advantage for that bet though not sure about outright.

Yeah big evening ahead for me on the punting front Pa.

Lot of bets on the edge of being very good, but a bad hole away from realising nothing.

Phil should really nail the place in the outright market, and has a great chance of winning the w/o market. If Jordan stutters, he could lift the loot. On the other side of the coin though, Phil wont be playing for second, he will be firing at flags, and a couple of errant bullets, could cost me dear.

Blixt takes a one shot lead in Top Continental Euro into the final round. A lead that should really be 4, throwing away 3 shots with a DB on 15 yesterday. Again, he has a right chance of clicking that bet, but a poor round may see him not even land the place money even though there is only 4 contenders left in.

Rory and Tiger have a chance of paying out some bit on top 5 and 6 respectively.

Rory should land the top 10 at this stage, but like Phil and Tiger, he will be setting out for a 64. Could go either way.

Could be a very profitable evening, but equally if things go wrong, there could be nothing to collect. I certainly wont be trading out of anything though!

Clicked with first seven match bets yesterday - over 60/1 accum - was taking a big chance on the Casey Choo Choo in the 8th match - ran out of coal on his way to Newcastle against Phil the Trill. Keep the Faith – Bon Jovi.

I think Blixt is a good bet, but I have enough riding on him having a good round, so will let it go.
