Anyone see Right Tendency RT / LT Left Tendency stats for RORY earlier. Can't find it again, was on the Golf Channel maybe ?

Anyways, it explained that McIlroy has vastly improved in the RT stat (from #250 in 2011 to #2 in 2014).
i.e. meaning the percentage of time the tee shot comes to rest right of the fairway.

In other words, with his draw he can take on the right-hand side of the entire golf course and be confident that his ball will come to rest on the fairway almost every time. If you think about it, this excludes half the golf course for him and a huge advantage over most of the field.

Hasn't much of an advantage over Speith in the L/R tendency thing imo,though Speith has had some very lucky breaks(playing very well too though). Temperment is a bit questionable with him.

In driving Catch me he ends up in the left rough 9.78%(t20) whereas with the right rough it is 13.32%(t60),clear with Speith he is better going R/L.

Thought that was a pretty damn good opening 18 from Tiger. Got no luck, and was a foot or two short with the pace on the greens. His chipping and pitching was superb, and will have given him great satisfaction.

Jordan shot some round, he did indeed have a fair dollop of luck along the way, but he took advantage of it.

Jason Day was nearly equally as impressive.

My team have plenty to do, hoping tomorrow can bring a few of them into it.

Shaping up to be a classic . Coverage indeed leaves a lot to be desired , never know what they are going to show . I watched most of the play on the red button , Amen corner , reckon that eliminates a lot of complications about what you are going to see , and you see nearly everyone .

Especially delighted to see Ernie up there , hope he can keep up the gallop until Sunday .

Spieth is probably too short a price given the luck was hanging out of him today .
