One thing I don't get is that the partner has said all along she is not in the river. That's before Faulding got to work. I have quite a strong negative feeling about the partner. What he has said , what he has not said and his almost total lack of emotion. That alone doesn't make him guilty of a crime but he could be capable of helping to make a person very unhappy.

but why would a person log into a work call if the intention was minutes later to abscond or take your life..be the last thing on your mind..i just cant have her being being taken by force in a remote location in such a short time frame without anyone hearing a scream and being carried away without being seen..

i'd never seen Ansell state conclusively that he believed she wasnt in the river untill faulding searched it.

Logged in, phone left on the bench, dog still near the bench almost looks like trying to convince everybody that something has happened (when maybe it hasn't?)....

She could've entered the water at several points along the river, leaving the dog deliberately whilst she cleared her head and continued walking along the river contemplating suicide, not wanting the dog to witness it.
I think it's something like 3/4 of all gun deaths in the US are suicides. I doubt many of them just pick up the gun and shoot themselves in an instance. I imagine they hold the gun for a while thinking shall I, shan't I. Just like a gun is an opportunity at hand, walking along a river is an opportunity. |

It has a touch of the "Neil Dovestones "about it for sure. He was the guy that walked onto the hills from near Greenfield Station after asking directions in the local pub. He had travelled from Manchester station but not by rail according to cctv. So must have been taxi although no driver came forward. He made it impossible to identify himself after commiting suicide. No bank cards or anything else on him. He clearly expected his family to be slack as regards coming forward and there were good pictures put out on tv and newspapers. Must have been at least 3 months before he was identified.
Rico , wouldn't doing that stop anyone else from ringing you on the phone ? If you turned the phone off people might worry. Also having the phone switched on but not with you gives the impression you are in a location that is not where you are. |
|
By:
I should imagine people might worry more if they found your phone abandoned on a bench, with your dog running around on its own and no trace of you....

publicity fading fast on this case now

LATALOMNE " Logged in, phone left on the bench, dog still near the bench almost looks like trying to convince everybody that something has happened (when maybe it hasn't?).."
Yeah it's only the kids that stops me thinking fake suicide. If it was only Paul she was leaving rather different. |

without a body takes 7yrs innit?

By:
well it might be trying to make suicide look like an accident. 1. that might be better regards insurance payout. 2. your kids think you have died in an accident slipping in to the river ( to save them pain ) the police fell for it anyway

7 yrs sets up the kids when 16-18. The insurance figure would be interesting. Should have been first question DW asked.

why automatically assume the worst of these people?you don't know them so why paint them to be insurance fiddlers or whatever?
|
|
By:
I think the police do that kind of thing pandy. Apart from pulling the likes of Savile in but he had too much on them and others.
|
|

so its possible for her to have another separate phone and be in touch with someone in a car near that gate shown on youtube, when alls clear like no dashcams etc jump into the car and off they go.
plenty possibilities ![]() |

why automatically assume the worst of these people? It's best to do that with ALL people. Then you never live with Jim Jones or Charlie Manson. " There is evil in all of us" -William Golding Author Lord of the Flies.

Excellent wifi on the flight back from FCO so I thought I`d pop in here. We are blessed indeed on this forum. The very same people who knew everything to do with medical matters during Covid turn out also to be experts in the field of criminal investigations.
Why they spend all day, every day on a betting forum is a mystery but we should all be thankful for them sharing their supreme cerebral powers and knowledge with us. |

if your bgoing to end it cant tell family .friend,s etc

Tbf, when you were apparently a 'covid' recovering mum, we did actually manage to correctly diagnose you with suffering from bullsh*titis. |

Runs Westwards, from Garstang Road/Blackpool Lane junction in St Michaels - Beyond the Weir - alongside the River - towards the River Wyre outlet to Morecambe Bay
Does not say if the full length of Rawcliffe Rod (circa 5000 metres = 3 miles) is closed, or part-closed just from one junction to another of a lesser length. |

I doubt divers are flippering around in fields.
