Unfortunately I'm not one of them gave up my season ticket a few years back and needed one to be in the ballot
like everything else bit by bit until we can get back to normal and start going football, horse racing again and have a few beers along the way

Running it again as soon as possible while it is still fit makes sense.

One of tomorrows runners meets that criteria – with RP comment.

dak, thanks for that, they're the ones I'm watching for but one or two haven't had the going.

Hapsan, regarding the comparison with athletes, there's a saying .... "strike while the iron is hot". Not just the horse's physical condition but mental condition also.

hapsan, funambule sivola is being upped in distance and the race is worth a fair bit more.
Not saying it can't win but it looks as though my best chances are in class 4 and 5 races.
Only the connections can have any idea of what their horse has got under the bonnet of course and maybe it'll trot up again tomorrow.

Crossley Tender .... fits MY interpretation of the rules and if I don't have a bet here I'm never going to have a bet.
Basically, without writing an essay on the thing:
Won a class 3 chase last time out. Comfortably.
Run before that won a class 4 hurdle. Ditto.
Back over hdls today off 8lb higher mark from 7 1/2 length hdl win and is set to go up 8 after this.

Course winner ... goes on the going ...

No it's not nail don but what's not to like?
