I like the look of Allavina in the 3.00.  five of the nine runners are 66/1 plus.  9/4 on the books pays 1.45 for the plaice and it's currently trading at 1.24 on here so the maths stack up.

All I can tell you is, he took one look at the Profit/Loss on the New Hat Trick Seekers thread 4 day’s ago and hasn’t been seen on here since.

Yep he puts the either a full or half point stake up before every selection and from memory without trawling back through the thread is over a dozen points in profit.  Possibly more.

1.05 Clonmel has a nice shape. Nelly's Money 11/4 on the books (1.55 to plaice and 1.27 on here at the min).

2.15 Exeter looks a three horse race will keep an eye on that one.

I have become somewhat bored with the forum in general - It has always been difficult to sort the wheat from the chaff (both in terms of posters and threads) simply due to the huge volume of chaff - but lockdown seems to have brought the chaff very much to the fore. I really can't be bothered anymore to trawl through the ramblings of the current handful of prolific half-wits, wannabes and after-timers.

I have enjoyed this thread and the interactions with the regular posters on it - but for my own interests, I probably started it at completely the wrong time of year. I just don't have the same level of interest (or confidence) in betting Each Way on National Hunt racing - and I find place laying to be a much more profitable approach throughout the winter months. I think my last Filthy EW bets (on this thread) were 22nd December.

I am pleased to have yielded a profit from the "thread bets". It's quite a disappointing profit but that is largely down to very strictly maintaining the honesty and integrity of every single thread bet (all clearly selected before the races and settled at genuinely available prices). I am pleased to have persevered when the going was tough (it really was a quite dreadful start!) and it would have been pretty easy to just give up (pretend it never happened and start again!).

It's probably a lot easier to make a "pretend" profits that way. Just starting a new thread every half hour (and conveniently forgetting all the losses that went before) or to do a bit of back-fitting to filter out the losers and increase the winners - but I am pleased to have made a profit in an honest way and will at least bow out (for now) with some integrity.

I might have another go in the coming flat season - but good luck to all you filthsters in the meantime (especially Jon, Skip & 37). FWIW - I think you are betting on too many races at the moment but it's still a very enjoyable read in what is otherwise a sea of dross. GL fellas. May Cod be with you!

Cheers for starting the thread TM i've enjoyed it and will continue to post.  You have helped me dodge a few bullets along the way and you said in September the thread will show a profit and it has.  GL with the plaice lays and hope to hear from you in the spring.

Developing a real fondness for jumpers bumpers ................Think Malystic a decent bet in the 1-50......

I'm done with filth for the day Skip - it was a bit of a stretch for me to play Presentandcounting (12:45).

Lots of tempters and nice shaped races today - but would rather be a place layer in this ridiculously heavy ground.

Not a bet for me - but I was drawn to Snookered (last night) in that Malystic race (at 13:50) despite giving them all weight. He's a big drifter! - so I probably won't play it - but I thought better than Evens (11/10) - Place Only - was worth another look - come race time (when there might be more than two quid in the market!). GL.
