Plenty of criminals in the EU central command.

You see how easy it was?
Distract the public with a diversion using polemics then break down the system |

I think the City of London ought to adopt the penalties of the USA for financial frauds eg bang up perpetrators for long periods, and not just a knuckle rap or in holiday camp prison. And, head honchos of entities guilty of money laundering (then) ought to be punished retrospectively.

doesn't really matter which politician/party you stick in the frame, they are all a bunch of fcktards, many with their own personal agendas trying to screw the public for as long as they possibly can

If the country had more politicians that just tell the truth, like Jo Swinson, then we'd be in a much better place.
Willing to put her neck on the line, say it how it is and take the flack. Not for her own good but for the benefit of the country.. |

"I do not want UK money flowing into these countries at the expense of our own citizens - this is not xenophobia. The UK must look after their own citizens 1st, and those affected by un-rests/discrimination, internal conflicts or outright war. The EU can wait - The UK have been patient all this time."
thats the crux of it right there. Remaniacs are the type of faux liberals who would rather spend millions on foreign aid and would happily let economic migrants flood in over the channel, than spend a single penny on our own homeless. In fact they wouldn't p1ss on our homeless if they were on fire. |

sorry james, but is that the jo swinson that put eyeliner & dental floss on her expenses?
|
|
By:
and 29p for dusters ... go girl
|

By:
Always used to throw a couple of quid in the cups, but stopped when it came to light how many are fake beggars taking the money that should go to genuine homeless on the street
|
|
By:
A bit of eye liner and dental floss better than some that claim for 2nd houses etc
She knew the flack that was going to come but stood for what she believes in, honest about it and doing it to save the turkeys that are voting for xmas. Unlike Boris, who wants to go down in history as some sort of Churchill the 2nd at the expense of everyone else bar the small few power to the people |
|
By:
morals & integrity isn't it? whether 29p or the 2nd house, it makes me see an approach of her and her ilk to collect the £ rather serve the people

Not for her own good but for the benefit of the country.. yes , jo swinson the voice of remain , hard luck on the half of lib dem voters who want to leave then . they are commiting political suicide but too power hungry to stop to think , they think being voice of remain will get her too PM but failed to realise half their voters are leavers ![]() idiots |

As stated so many times over the years, this Forum is a fair cross section of the UK in terms of views and opinions and yet we have been attacked in the past by certain elitists whose positions were made to look fragile. We have never all agreed on a mass of stuff but in general have managed to live together without too much difficulty?
The odd megalomaniac has surfaced (some more than once) but they have always been sent packing eventually by the truth being outed, the truth will always out.Fair to say imo that this thread has again shown what democracy really means i.e One individual is not and should never be greater than the whole, even Kemo Sabe seems to get that mantra? Here in Fife today, reflected East Anglia in respect of a new referendum is the only fair of way of judging how the country feels today after the failure to deliver something voted for over 3 years ago. |

By:
Correct glen, either stop Brexit completely as no one knew what they were voting for or give the people the chance to
vote on what they now know, like the 350m to nhs being a lot of sh1te etc |

in fairness to the lib dems & JS, at least I know what they stand for, i'm struggling to even get close as to where labour are

The EU without the hangers-on minnow members would be a force to be reckoned with. As it is there is too much dross and too expensive to get it into shape to be competitive and also the challenges of their social differences and political history. Will Russian ever join post Juncker, Tusk and Barnier?
The future of The EU with Macron, Varackar and Starmer, who knows. |

By:
aye we know exactly what the liberal anti-democrats stand for under Jo Swindler
- shafting the students and impoverishing the youth - selling their souls to the harshest Tory austerity policies in return for a sniff of power - refusing to accept the biggest democratic vote the country's ever seen, insisting they need to vote again, and again, until they get the result that suits them. They would rather embrace hypocrisy than respect democracy. Paddy Ashdown would be spinning in his grave at the shambles they've become. |

Being non political in general I have to agree Platini, also agree with several other views.Very few left with any moral fibre.
|
|
By:
glentoby. Re moral fibre, I was once on an afternoon flight from Edinburgh to Brussels that I used to use as a hub for other destinations. The Guy sitting next to me introduced himself as an MEP. He proceeded to tell me he was only going to qualify for a payment for going to vote, would have dinner and be back home at night. He then went into all their money making schemes and told of his magnificent apartment and the paid for holidays and trips for his family.
I did read of him and others being investigated over misuse of expenses. He was initially cleared but it has since been opened up again. |

Platini, I was totally amazed at what she was coming out in her speech this week. Surely even party members must know it will never happen.
She is now accused by Thornberry of taking a Taliban like stance. Soon they will be kicking, scratching and tearing hair. Our local Lib Dem MP now sits as an Independent having resigned the Liberal Democrat whip in December 2018 over Brexit to fall in line with his constituents, although he remains a member of the Liberal Democrat Party |

You have to laugh, that pic reminds me of Prisoner Cell Block H.
"He used to bring me flowers, I wish he could again, But that was on the outside and things were different then, On the inside the sun still shines and the rain still comes down,But the sun and rain are prisoners too, when morning comes around." Used to show on Tv at about this time of night |

John Humphrys has lifted the lid on the BBC's "institutional liberal bias" and accused the corporation of being out of touch with the nation in his memoir.
The veteran broadcaster, who retired from Radio 4's Today show two days ago, says bosses "badly failed" to read the public's mood on Brexit and "simply could not grasp" why anybody voted Leave. In an extract published in The Daily Mail on Saturday, he recalled the morning after the referendum, writing: "Leave had won – and this was not what the BBC had expected. Nor what it wanted. |

By:
I think Boris should be commended on the job hes trying to do with the restraints being put upon him.
The pro remain bias in Parliament was never going to allow a Brexit, the deal of all deals could come back now and the oppositions will still vote it down, nothing was ever going to be supported. Labour, Lib Dems and the rest have done nothing but play politics for 3 years in a sham attempt to stall and delay, then changing their positions gradually till we now have them bleating on about, its 3 years since the vote should it still stand. We don't send £350 billion to the EU every week, as rebates are taken off at source. After public spending from the EU the actual figure is around £200 million each week, and expected to remain so for a while. I still will say to any remain voter show me where that bus stated that £350 million will GO TO THE NHS Youre as misled as you believe the people who voted leave to be. A statement of "lets fund the NHS instead" does not mean all the money goes to the NHS, and only an idiot of major proportions would believe that to be the case, its a budget and would be broke down into various departments. |
