Cloak And Dagger 4th @ 2/1, i should have made it the lay (as mentioned) but it was too close to race time and prefer to post way in advance.

Kev,

Thank you.

The backs are simply thoughts really, although i do back some of them occasionally. I don't look for anything specific, or have rules as such, although i tend to stay clear of sellers, claiming and low grade type fields, as well as 3 year old maidens. I'm not a fan of the AW.

If i have a serious bet, it would generally be in a decent race, ideally Black type where the form is a little more reliable. I've had some large bets in my time, but not so many these days. It's difficult to make backing pay pre-race, but thankfully i don't have to.

My only concern is it looks a weak race and he may improve for the Polytrack (only raced on turf).

Swerved what could have been a costly lay there (Royal Navel Worship) Grin

Lampus et all,

I'm going to give the lay a miss this evening, there's only 8 races left (2 odds-on) with a runner of 5/2 or under anyway and i can't see a decent lay amongst them.

I did consider Crosse Fire (8.15 Catterick) although he's slightly over 5/2 at the moment. Poorly drawn and may not be able to dictate as he did LTO with pacier types inside. First Excel drawn in stall 2 could go well at an EW price.

Better to be sure than just having a guess.

Good luck and have a nice evening Grin

Willie,

You and Burkey may be at opposite ends of the financial spectrum, but you're both mad as a box of frogs sometimes Laugh

Lampus,

Have fun with the cricket, not my game at all.

Nijinsky,

Thank you.

There's no point in giving BS on here, posters would soon pick up on it.

Well done again Andrew, I know you didn’t put it up as a lay but Crosse Fire didn’t even place and touched 2/1 on here just before the off.

Good morning Lampus et all,

Did you get up early to watch Winx in Australia ?

Gazza and Cardenden,

Thank you. Crosse Fire was just outside my odds limit at the time of posting, but I couldn't see why it was a gamble close to race time. He didn't have a lot going for him and the outside draw in 14 was a negative. He had led in his previous race over 6f on the course (better draw) so as it was 5f maybe punters thought he would hold on.

She should win, but she's not a certainty by any means.

I'm happy to risk it Wink
