Domino did it win, 3 and 4 places but no doubt he will have made a profit. He slipped in on Andrew's thread but once again proves that he is Pub League whilst Andrew is Premier League. Good to see The Anorak putting him inn his place.

No Flukes, it drifted like a barge and was stuffed out of sight and I like £150.00

Lost not like.

Oh well, at least losing plenty means you can still get on with Sportsbook
|

Actually up on the day Flukes, Layed Seductive and Blue Mist. Plus had a decent bet on Sweet Pursuit. Few losses dented but £68 up with a £500 liability lay on Royal Variety in the 6.05 at Nottingham, who I'm told needs 10f and will do better in handicaps.

have you noticed the minus sign ( - ) before the losing amounts dom?
|
|
By:
Yes willie
It wasn't a minus sign i meant the other day it was like an arrow with a minus by it, I thought that was on your image but it wasn't. I was wrong, but I think you bet that at 1.65 to trade out i,e scalp, I doubt you left 10K up on a 1.65 horse. |

Hi Guys,
A busy day at the office today and i haven't had much time to review this evenings cards, but they don't look promising anyway so it's doubtful i will post a lay today. I did consider Major Valentine last night, but it's drifted outside my oddslimit, at least for now. Never mind, it's a random day thread anyway and i don't want to post just for the sake of it. |

Domino,
Thanks for the early morning write-ups. This is not a critique (only curiosity) but you mentioned backing 'All About The Pace' in the 3TBP, 4TBP and win markets. There were only 7 runners, and a couple were 20/1 and 50/1. I can't see the logic in playing 4TB, the odds must have been miniscule anyway, what was the point of that with respect to a stalking plan ? The Anorak, Apology wasn't necessary (but thank you). It's an open thread anyway and if posts are racing related, then we all benefit. Delta, I guess you mean the car fires ? They were in Malmö and Göteborg, south west Sweden. Gangs of youths apparently. I haven't seen the full news, but i heard 2 have been arrested on arson charges. |

“Never mind, it's a random day thread anyway and i don't want to post just for the sake of it.” If you’re not sure leave it for another day – hallmark of a shrewd gambler. |

![]() I may post a lay later as i'm having lunch in the city centre. If not, this evening. I do like Michael Stoutes Frankel colt Hamlul (Beverley 3.30) as a back bet. Handicap debut, but could be on a decent mark. His last two runs have been good (in the context of this race) and the 1st, 2nd and 3rd from his last run have all win since. The odds reflect this (13/8 on here) and i wouldn't want to take much shorter, but i think he can win today. Good luck. |

Hamulul may well be on a decent mark, but..2.42 - 2.72 now and drifting. I honestly cant entertain Stoute drifters. Thats just me. Were see at the off but the track bothers me.

Hi Guys,
No war and peace reading today (as often) due to time constraints, in fact i'm actually typing this up during a mid-morning design coma that needs coffee. I had several lays on a short list last night, albeit all running in the afternoon, but as i'm in the city centre later, i can pop home, get matched (hopefully) and post as company IT/securty wi-fi has restrictions on gambling web-sites. Of those selected, i was tempted with Chain Of Daises in the 3.40 at Salisbury, but she's the highest rated horse running today, and there's a significant NR in the race now, so a big risk. She tends to lead, but could be taken on by Savannah. I think the winner comes from the latter or Crystal Hope who i was impressed with at Sandown. Her run LTO has been boosted in no uncertain terms by Sea of Class and Athena. Staying at the same meeting, but a much shorter distance and what i consider to be a very open race, even though there are only 6 runners. Salisbury 2.40 Signore Piccolo With exception of one, the field is rated in a range of only 6 lb and trying to find the winner isn't easy, in my opinion layers have 5 running for them. If i had to select one possible winner, it would be the lowest rated, CD winner Look Suprised who carries a penalty, but this is almost offset by the jockey claim. She has to improve, but hasn't had that much racing for a 5 year old. The likely outsider, 3 year old Kodiac filly, Swing Out Sister is also interesting on her 2 year old form, specially with Equilateral. Signore Piccolo is the oldest in the field at 7, and compared to this time last year his mark has regressed. That could be taken as a positive in one respect, but i have my doubts. Finished a close 3rd LTO, but on good to soft ground and is on a 1 lb higher mark today. I also think he is probably better with a little give in the going (good today). In a few recent races, he's been taken to start early (unseating the jockey on one occasion) so mayhe he's getting a few negative thoughts about the game. In a very open race, i'm content with my selection as the lay today. Good luck. Lay @ 3.30 15-Aug-18 12:19:45 14:40 Salisbury Signore Piccolo - Win Betfair Bet ID 1:133936189958 | Matched: 15-Aug-18 12:20:19 Lay 3.30 50.00 115.00 50.00 Matched |

Trident,
Likewise, good luck. I noticed Hamlul last night and thought he was on a good mark for handicap debut (receives 13 lbs from the 2nd fav). Stoutes only entry at Beverley (not so significant) and apart from the top weight i didn't think it was a particulary strong race. I only had a small win bet earlier. |

The Moon of Baroda is a 24.04 carats (4.808 g) cut diamond discovered in Vadodara (Baroda), India.[1] The diamond, canary yellow in colour, is cut in a pear shape. When found, the rough diamond weighed 25.95 carats (5.190 g). The Moon of Baroda was originally owned by the Maharajas of Baroda. The royal family of Gaekwad Maharajas was in possession of the diamond for almost 500 years. The gem was later worn by singer and actress Marilyn Monroe.
