A bit of a hangover this morning after going out for a few sherbets celebrating last nights sensational breeders Cup.
Anyway a hare of the dog along with a roast chicken and counting the wheelbarrow of cash from last night pillage already a got a spring in my step ![]() Cyrname: Thought an interesting runner sent up from P.Nichols all the way up north. and his form last year reads very well in the context of this race. Uradel: E/W makes some appeal he's a good sort and should be in the thick of things when coming with a late challenge. stratum been tipped on here a couple of times on here, no surprise he is in the mix too now i desert it. problem is Willie got so many runners. Riven Light: Is the Nap today. This nag has plenty of ability and be no surprise to see it back in the winners enclosure. |
|
By:
Not such a good day today but after last night that was to be expected.
Nichols horse clocking many miles on a round trip that was fruitless, very well backed to in the end. Uradel never sighted and the reserve gets in and is smashed off the boards for Tony Martin and gamble landed. The Nap never put in the race and would never have beaten the winner as he hacked up. Seamie Heff very good at those sort of rides. ![]() A little bit given back to the layers today but a sensational weekend though he he he Hangover already gone and time for a few more beers. Here's to Frankie and Joel two great Jockeys! |
|
By:
Reading and listening to the Fall out of the breeders cup Classic wish these people who are knocking Super Soumi ride on Thunder Snow would F@ck off out of the sport! i thought it was a sensational ride! He Gave it everything which is what you want to see for such a huge race! Keep it up Christoph!
Back to business 8.00 Kemp Landue Nap: This horse knows how to win which is always a good habit in this game. Good Draw, improving, Strong Claims, Worthy Jolly. |

TX Bud, You missed an in form Matty on Saturday night at the breeders cup banging winners left, right and center.
5.30 Captain Power Nap: Was thinking was more of a 5/2 shot then its current price but on a day where nothing really stands out he is the obvious one today with clear claims and is still worth backing. |
|
By:
Boom! Well Backed and delivers the goods.
Tanked along and never in doubt! Thats me done for the day. He's not bad this Guy with his Naps ![]() |

Mat - your the man for the big races and as I recall - Flat and Jumps.
Today I have finally finished getting the D/B up to date . Have been working on a few pointers so just testing today. Chelmsford is a good track for winners but a lot are short on price. Top Score runners 5.15 DUBAI SUNSET 5.45 CHITRA 6.15 BRASCA 6.45 MUSHTAQ 7.15 AREEN HEART & BOY IN THE BAR, but going with LOS CAMACHOS on comparison with past winners 7.45 BREATHTAKING LOOK 8.15 PRINCESS KEIRA and CATHEADANS FURY are joint top but Princess has comparison with past winners 8.45 TURANGA LEELA is top but WATADOLL (next best) has comparison with past winners |

TX Mr. P do like the big races the form tends to be ore consistent.
Been having a break and spending plenty of Breeders cup winning on clothes and another trip to Thailand booked. ![]() 1.35 Apples Jade Nap: around evens worth a bet. had it a bit shorter in my book. Got a Nb to follow later. |
|
By:
Mattie Bangs in another Nap!
never in doubt, pings off and goes a decent gallop then quickens clear. Go collect, Easy this Game ![]() |
|
By:
2.00 kilbricken storm & 2.20 Terrefort NB Double.
Thought both had great claims hence there short odds but worth banging in a double. |
|
By:
Killbricken got there but made hard work in the end. his jumping to his right could be a concern in future.
As for Terrefort dont know what to say about that, last of 4, clearly unfit and lazy jumps plus Daryl in the plate which is always risky. Thought these two horses would be ones to keep on the right side this season. will watch with interest their next runs. Main thing is the Nap Pi$$ed it today ![]() |
|
By:
12.35 Gilded Heaven Nap: Stable in good form and Stable record at this track is encouraging. should have every chance of winning v this lot. Showboating is feared on this surface and can pop up anytime and might be worth a small saver just in case the Nap Fails.
|
|
By:
Nap Fluffed the start! game over!, Showboating well clear in 2nd could not come to the rescue As the Winner bolted up. problem getting involved in this sort of grade of horses.
|
|
By:
Of interest today (another test)
Fares Kodiac 5 (M Botti) Legend Island 8 (Ed Walker) Turquoise Friendly 3 (Robert Cowell) Cricklewood Green 4 (S A Kirk) Florencio 3 (Jamie Osborne) Flying Tiger 8 (Nick Williams) Janabiya 1 (George Peckham) Mainsail Atlantic 6 (James Fanshawe) |

2.30 My Sister Sarah Nap: Looks exciting and have to continue to follow this horse. Done me a good turn under Patrick and was just as impressive last time under Ruby. The yard have another runner under different owners which is always something to fear. But confident were' on the right one though would not take any shorter then 4/5 or 1.85, the market is spot on currently. but the layers want to offer even's or bigger that would be nice
![]() Oh will bang in a very low price lay if its cruising with one hurdle to jump But for me still one of the best jump jocks out there when he's on form and it comes to the Big Races. Just like a certain Lanfranco on the Flat he's another man for the big races. Mr.P Shame Chelmsford forgot to put an extra 50p in the meter as Fares Kodiac got you off to a good start yesterday. Good to see you back with some picks. |

Hi Mat, yes the lights went out so we will never know.
I rarely have a Banker but today - BUSBY 7.00 Kemp based upon form 11, age, sex, difference and month (Gulliver won in November) TAB form HORSE and draw DIFF AGE sex career 10 42x03 Jaywalker 2 0 6 G 4-6-18 1 76211 Gulliver 5 0 3 G 3-3-12 9 79411 Busby 9 0 3 G 2-2-8 |
|
By:
Great shout With Busby Mr. P ran a fine race at a nice price. only nk and a short head between the 3 at the line.
As for my Nap that was one that got away, Sister Sarah clearly the best horse in the field and she has a good engine and is worth keeping on side. One slight negative was that her jumping was a bit scratchy at times. it was a novice hurdle after all, The Ruby Knockers were out in force today with plenty of threads on the go as usual. Agree not Rubys best ride and im sure Willie Mullins wont have been happy but there is some crap written on here. |
|
By:
Aye Mat a good ew price 10/1
The daft thing was the age of winner (7) Three of the last 4 races were aged 7 ![]() |
|
By:
Agree i was on E/W, keep those sort coming
![]() 3.00 Kemboy Nap: Try again with another Willie Mullins Horse. Again like yesterday i think this will be the best horse in the race. just hope Paul can deliver the goods and not let those G.Elliot horses get first run . Again around 6/4 its tight enough in the market, but he does have very serious claims today. |
|
By:
Normal service resumes As Paul got it home in the position Mattie is acquired to been used to
![]() In it goes! Plenty of improvement to come still as was still a bit keen and sketchy at times. Clearly the best horse in this field with a good engine and enthusiasm. |

Cheltenham November meeting here and to some this is the start of the jump season.
The quality of horses now start to improve as summer jumpers fade away. Thought the Young master was interesting in the the opener. We also see the return of the national winner Tiger roll. Though i prefer josies Order on this occasion on these terms. 3.00 Josies Order Nap: Nina has been my jock over this discipline in these colors over the years but hope Mark can get the job done today. had a spin recently as Edna normally does and should go very close today with a clear round. 12.40 The Young Master E/W: At around 5/1 thinks he's a bet to nothing, again if no serious mistakes made as he can hit the odd one hard this nag should be in the mix of things up the cheltenham hill. |
|
By:
Boom!
Good Start to the November Meeting with the Young Master going in. Mattie doing what he does best ![]() great ride by Sam, bangs it out and catch me if you can and they couldn't ![]() |

Another Nap does the biz! What a thread this is. Great ride and the horse battled on well, she's a bit of a character this Josies Order but this horse does give it all when the chips are down. Great start to the weekend! Kerrrrrching! Thats me done for the day, Time for a few drinks ![]() |
