She was short enough in the Market which saved me a few quid.
Still lost a nice sum but she owes me Nothing, Enable still the Queen in my eyes. Gosden / Frankie have had a sensational season ![]() |

Another Top weekend of racing coming up.
8.30 Kemp Avenue Foch looks ready to go one better into winners enclosure. |

By:
Pintubo Again showed his class.
Another great Racing weekend at HQ. Looking Very Soft for another big weekend of Racing. |

Can't wait till tomoz.
Revenant Stands out like a sore thumb in this Ground. Looks a Worthy Fav. Plus Magical if she runs to her rating is another that should take care of this lot without Enable around. Tonight Think El Astronaute at Dubdalk Should be tough to beat n is my bet of the Day. |
|
By:
Revenant Nap: Will relish this ground and Expect this Gelding to be bang there.
Magical NB: The Class horse in the field and Should win if running her Race. One Master and Lord North Also Of Interest today. |
|
By:
Magical was Magic and again enhances Enable's Reputation.
Otherwise Revenant ran a cracker and pulled well clear with the winner, just bumped into one there. Lord North and One Master completed the 2nd itus today. 1 winner and three 2nds. |

Been a while since i posted on here.
Anyway With plenty of rain and a colder feel about, plus meeting starting earlier defo feels like the Jumps season is about to start in earnest soon. Once Again i will be following that genius W.Mullins especially around xmass time to Chelt/Punchestown. Meanwhile Gordon Elliot will no doubt make hay n Bang plenty of Winners. In England N.Henderson stands way clear in my book. Been a great flat season with the best jockey Frankie Dettori having a sensational season. while Osin Murphy deserved to be crowned Champion jockey. As for Flat Trainers John Gosden has been amazing Again. While Charlie Appleby for Godolphin has also been very good. |
|

Our Recent First big clash of the jump season was fascinating with Altior losing his unbeaten record v Cyrname.
Winner won it fair and square imo but i would not be quick to knock Altior effort and that Genius Henderson no doubt will be aiming to get him back to winning ways. Was firmly in the Bristol de Mai camp as his record at haydock speaks for itself but again credit to the new kid on the block lostintranslation. Looks an exciting prospect for the Tizzards. Otherwise Mullins n Elliot over in the Emerald isle are banging plenty of winners and this weekend at Fairyhouse should be interesting. No Sign of Mr.p in a while hope all is ok. |

Interesting start to the the weekend with paisley Park looking as good as ever. As for the Champ that horse cant jump well but he does have a serious engine. As for Ak47 he got chinned and cost me a decent barrel of cash as i had them with the 2 odds on shots already mentioned. Back a skelton Fav and they run like Sh!t yet he does poke the odd one in when you dont want them there. Rancid outfit hope i never meet them.
The show goes on tomorrow and i especially like the card at Fairyhouse on Sunday. Envoi Allen,Abacadabras,Samcro, Fakir D,Apples Jade n Honeysuckle just a few to mention racing in Ireland on a quality meeting to finish of the weekend. |

Hi Mat
It has been a long time since we spoke. Are you back on the scene or still in the hot country. I haven't done much with betting having lost my interest. I rarely use the computer these days, It is an age thing. My bets are usually a 10 pence multiples. We are in the process of moving house to Chester and should be there before the start of Flat. Will miss my garden but it was getting too much. I sold a plot of land to a neighbour. We are going to a retirement complex which is handy for bus and train and has 2 pubs close by. Our daughter and family will only be a stones throw away. I am taking all my Chester race stuff accumulated over the years to keep for May meetings. All for now Pinza |

Hi Mr.P
Apologies For the late reply. Don't reply so much on here or keep your thread running recently cause i thought there were to many idiots on here. So keep the good stuff to myself. Yes still frequently Visit The Land of Smiles though of course not recently due to a certain virus. Glad to hear your well and wish you and your family all the best ![]() Godolphin starting this new Flat season well with group 1 wins in France already plus Yesterday in the Uk. A certain Pinatubo goes today in the 2000G with very strong credentials. He's short enough But i do see him justifying his short odds. In fact could well be a good weekend for the jollies. As i also expect Quadrilateral to go in Tomoz. |

Just For Cheltenham 2021 Will Reactivate this thread.
Hope all well with you Mr.P Well No crowd this year but im still buzzing and can't wait for the Festival to kick off. Will give you my thoughts over the next 4 days. Can warn you already The tips wont be very original as im on some decent prices on Obvious ones in the big races. So for value seekers This thread wont be any interest. But what is Value? For an example im Sitting on Sishkin at 6/4 So if it wins i do believe i have a good value bet so im not going to tip or take it on with something i dont believe will win regardless of the price. Everyone can make up their own minds whats value and whats not. thats the beauty of this game. Anyway onwards and Upwards. Day 1 Cheltenham Selections: 13.20: Appreciate it: Im on at 5/2 so will be hoping Willie kicks off the Festival with a winner. He has a good record in it on the whole, and the form of this horse is top quality. The drop of rain last night will not have hindered his chances. Would i still back him at 5/6? yes i rather be on then laying him as i do believe this horse is the real deal. 13.55: Shishkin: Again I backed it just before the Dublin Festival. Pity Energumene Did not make it as it has robed us of a sensational dual. Personally Shishkin only needs to get round to win. i make it a 1/3 shot in my book and thats being generous. This horse has a serious Engine All aboard! 14.30: happygoLucky: No strong opinion. Gone for Fav as a pick and will stick it in a small acca just in case we can get all the jollies rolling on like we did once running on to Annie Power. 15.05: Honeysuckle: She is a superstar and was very impressive in her last run. i can not oppose her. Short enough now and would not take any lower then 6/4 as Epatante does scare me with Hendo and JP's record in the race. 15.40 Concertista: Toss up between the pick and Roksana. Skelton horses in fine form but i do think Mullins has another top notcher and Mullins has farmed this race over the years and this nag will take some stopping. 16.15: Saint Sam: Very competitive race. No strong opinion but Will Stick with Mullins. 16.50: Galvin: Has course form Which tilts it for me plus will relish the test. The Jolly Next Destination no doubt will be hard to beat if there at the business end but if i had to take one on today this would be my lay on day 1. in Conclussion: Will hope its a blood bath for the bookies/layers and the Favs have a good day. Sishkin would be my Nap Appreciate It NB Next Destination Lay Good luck Formites! |

Day 1 Reflection.
Appreciate it : Is the real deal and bolted up. This fella is going right to the top. Willie gets punters off to a good start. Shishkin : Was just as impressive and would love to see Energumene take him on as their is nothing in England that can stay near this Machine. HoneySuckle : was given an excellent ride by Rachel and this is another winning machine. Epetante given a poor ride by Coleman. she should have got a bit closer then that. Galvin : was also given a great ride by Kennedy. Stays well this horse too, and capped a good start to day 1. Next Destination ran well but was short enough in my book hence my Lay of the Day. The other selections all came 2nd. Happygolucky ran well but his jumping needs to brush up. Saint Sam was given a patient ride and did well carrying that big weight. Concertista carried a big wedge of cash of mine after the first 3 big fancies all bolted up. Was given a great ride and i thought she was going to storm up the hill. sadly she was run down and the bookies were saved again. Annie Power & Benny in recent season have been scuppered by the gods who love the Layers. 4 winners and 3 seconds is a good start for me. Day 2 picks Tomoz. |

Day 2 Cheltenham Selection:
13.20: Bob Olinger: Another top juvenile on show here and his form is from the top draw and he looks to have serious engine to boot. worthy Fav in my Book but i do respect Bravesmansgame and i believe P.Nichols he is a good un. Mullins Horse would be a Lay for me. 13.55: Monkfish: Impossible to oppose and like Shishkin yesterday should saunter home. The Market has it right too. 1/2 yesterday was very fair. 14.30: Grand Roi: Should give it a go in a race i have little interest since Exnophon landed a huge Gamble for tony Martin. Blue sari and Koshari i will dutch for small stakes. 15.05: Chacun Pour Soi: He is the real deal and has a Serious Engine and should take all the beating. only slight negative is his jumping can be a bit scratchy and i think 4/5 is short enough and not value. had it more 6/4 as this is still a very competitive race. 15.40: Easyland: If anywhere near his best like last year ought to take care of them. would love to see a good run from the Tiger. 16.15: Entoucas/Not that Fuisse: Two picks that should be in the mix in a very difficult race. 16.50: Sir Gerhard: im on at Ante Post at big prices hence the pick. however after seeing KILCRUIT Bolt up recently i will be lumping on him and dutch them and hope either wins. In Conclusion: Another Fascinating Day. Monkfish Nap Bob Olinger NB Gaillard Du Mesnil Lay Good Luck Formites |
|
By:
Day 2 Reflections:
Bob Olinger: was impressive and justified my believe this horse has a big Engine and future. great start again to the day. Plus The Irish Juveniles are in a Different league to the English. Monkfish: Jumping was a bit sketchy but another horse with big gears. Understand why Mr. Mullins was nervous watching it. Good start For punters. Sir Gerhard: was given a great ride by Rachel and i was cheering this horse home all the way as i was on big time antepost. I did lump a fair whack on the Jolly too just in case Gerhard let me down. was in a very happy position in the last couple of furlongs knowing i had hedge my bet. Sensational end again to another great day at Cheltenham. Chacun Pour Soi: the one downer of the day. no excuses either as i thought he was going to storm up the hill but it just didn't happen. Still believe he is a good horse but Today was not his day. didn't get up the hill is the obvious. Good Run From Tiger. What a good little Horse he is. Shame Owners didn't leave him in the U.K National. How often can have a chance to do what Redrum did??? Entoucas couple bad blunders cost him. Blue sari only one chasing the winner before falling but would never have got there. 3 winners. Nap & Next Best plus lay all landed again on Day 2 Day 3 picks Tomoz. |

Day 3 Selections:
Busy Morning so no horse by horse explanation on every race. 13.20 Evoi Allen: Stands out on Form am on Antepost Nap 13.55 Mrs Miller 14.30 Melon/Allaho: Dutch these two in a very tough race. 15.05 Paisley Park: Back to his best should take all the beating. NB 15.40 The Shunter: Not easy landing that bonus. Lay for me. 16.15 Hook Up 16.50 Mount Ida Good Luck Formites |
|
By:
Day 3 Reflections:
Envoi Allen: Those Cheltenham fences show no mercy how ever big the Reputation of the Horse. Mrs Millner: was a winner for me but in a race that competitive the stakes are not the same size as other races. still 24.00 BFSP was nice. Mellon/Allaho: Winner was backed as if defeat was out of the question. Another master class ride from Rachel. melon great course form but not today. Paisley Park: Floored by a good Progressive horse. pity as i had a nice antepost acca running on to it. He is a good horse, trainer mentioned he lacked a little sharpness. im sure he will hit the winners enclosure again. The Shunter: after timing here but after Paisley loss did not lay it. Fair play to this little tough cookie. heavily backed and Bonus landed. Hook Up: Never in it. Mount Ida: Guess the story in this race for formites is it traded at 999/1. I had 9/2 only but another winner in the final race of the day. 3/3 Conclusion: The nap the NB and the lay all went wrong today. but did hit another three winners so not all bad and the nose is still in front with Gold Cup Day on its way Tomoz. ![]() |

On The Lash Thursday evening. Ended up a big night hence no picks The next day.
I backed and would of tipped up the Fav in the Gold Cup. All in all a very good Cheltenham. Rachel Blackmore the Star of the festival. The rides on Allaho and Sir Gerhard were brilliant. Well Done to the Irish they have some really good Horses over there. |

2000 Guineas
Ive Dutched Battleground and One Ruler. Think they will both run well in a open Race. |
|
By:
Well Done to Bolger and Manning.
My two ran poor. especially BattleGround who was backed into fav as an avalanche of money came for it. |
|
By:
1000 Guineas
Don't think its the strongest 1000 Imo. But time will tell. I thought it was a crazy price about the jolly at 6/4 earlier in the week. Still believe it short enough. However Around 3.2 on BF if the hype is correct it could well be far to good for this lot and at around 2/1 it might look decent after the race. I wont be lumping on but i wont want to lay it either. I rather back it then lay it is what my conclusion is. Santa Barbara Win |

Matt you appear to be talking to yourself what's happened to Pinza, I haven't looked in this post for years as I didn't give much credence to his Daily Mirror database stats but I do hope he's well.
If he continues to not reply why don't you start your own thread, |

I know the old copper liked his gardening. He often emailed me saying he didn't always have the time to do the form. I do hope he is alright. Good luck Greenacres with your pick. |

Frankie Stole the show on the stablemate Mother Earth.
Do think Santa Barbara Will come on for the race. Didn't look at ease in the dip. So would not give up on her yet. Time will tell how solid the form will be in both Guineas. Roll on Chester and Derby Trials! |
