Has this prize poultice posted his certainty bet yet please?
By:
He says this 1.27 is a 1/50 shot but no bet posted?
Maybe waiting for his medium's theory? Like someone who sent me a PM, give him a twelve runner handicap and he gets thirteen picks and still can't pick the winner....PRE RACE. |

tbf to Mayweather he equalled or even beat Rocky Marciano's record of 49? straight wins in a row. That takes a bit of doing.
It may be 47 as I haven't googled. That said, I have many Sugar Ray Robinson's fights on tape and have never seen a better boxer. All about opinions of course but even Ali Said he was the best. (pound for pound) Ali idolised Sugar Ray but you have to see him in action to fully appreciate. |

Best value in the History of boxing was a prime rigondeaux to beat willie casey at 1/3.
This is probably a close second though as anyone with a modicum of a clue about boxing or combat sports will tell you. |

Willie what you're asking here is why does the price stink...? That's what we're debating, he's a 1.01 certainty but...??? its simple they want a rematch its 100 million already generated through media a boxer will always beat a boxer in a boxing match 99 times out 100 but in any mixt martial arts comp 99 times out 100 the fittest guy wins big age gap here id he gets a hit in early and its a big if Mayweather might just wobble but he is a great boxer no one cant dispute that fact |
By:
boxer will always beat a kick boxer oops

on the face of it 1.27 mayweather does look an incredible price , a bit like frankel vs a handicapper over frankels distance and at level weights ,everything is to mayweathers advantage here, the only thing niggling is why the price so big ?
By:
If he goes off 1.27 then you would have to be concerned that something is wrong. I wouldn't be concerned at this stage as it's the equivalent of a morning racing market. The serious money will come on the day. He obviously should be 1.1 or shorter. Personally I'd be in the 1.02 camp too.

my son follows this cage fighting stuff ! he and his mates are big fans and incredibly some of his mates( most of them infrequent gamblers) are betting on mc gregor to win ,my son has even had a £20 bet with a mate that mayweather wins ffs,
1.27 value ? how bout evens |
By:
would you back someone in the WWE for 1.27 ? No
same logic applies here, fight has been staged managed NAP. |
By:
disclaimer................. when i said how bout evens ,i am not offering evens ...........thank you

Could be one of those fights where after you could be saying "I cannot believe I left that price alone" or "I knew it was too good to be true and should have left it alone". I will be surprised if he goes off the price he is though, and looks like it should be a free trade at the very least.

Anyone voicing an opinion on this rubbish should be embarrassed. Nobody really knows what's going on here, except the complete insiders.
It's a bit like the imbeciles who were putting up the runner in the women's 100m final at 1/7, but hadn't a clue that she had food poisoning. Anybody betting on sport without inside knowledge should go away and get treatment. In this particular rubbish , a baboon could tell you that Mayweather would win if everything was as it should be, but who really knows that? This is glorified wrestling , and surely nobody would contemplate betting on that garbage ( maybe willie might if one of them was 1/10 ). To be honest , this bout or whatever one would call it, is actually nauseating. Two slumdogs extracting money from dumbos who are actually believing this shhite. |
By:
don't know if its true, heard McGregor was knocked out in one of his first sparring sessions training for this fight, Mayweather to stop him in the first 6 rounds seems the most likely to me.
By:
Jimeen, that's complete nonsense. "Anybody betting on sport without inside knowledge should go away and get treatment" is perhaps the most ridiculous thing i've ever read on here.
By:
How is it ridiculous?
Would people have backed the runner if they knew she had food poisoning?, of course they wouldn't. Would people have backed Steve Davis against Denis Taylor all those years ago? Sports people carry injuries all the time , and that's not always in the public domain. |
By:
jimeen..
can you recall your classic.. me...'thompson looks a steal' you..'price was ridiculous' me..'how much you lay' you..'nothing,i dont get involved in things i know nothing about' ![]() |
By:
Jimeen, if people only bet on inside information there would be no markets on here. Of course if you find out something that is not in the public domain it could be useful, but to suggest that's the only time to have a bet and that 'people need treatment' if they bet without it is quite ludicrous.
By:
Thompson looks a steal
Then she gets the Shiite beat out of her, but unsurprisingly willie had no bet Said he doesn't back them at 1.14 and pay premium charge, yet he bets 1.001 every day of the week and pays it. Willie has an opinion on everything which is never a good sign. A know all that in reality that knows fukk all. If McGregor was 1.27 , then willie would fancy him, that's basically it, as he's incapable of fancying anything that's not huge odds on. |
By:
Could be useful you say asparagus.
If you know something that's going to change the outcome , I'd imagine that would be kind of useful alright . There's nothing to stop anyone betting on sport without inside knowledge, it's just that over time , they won't win without it . As for mcgregor and that other slum dog, that's not a sporting event , that's just showbiz for the braindeads. |

Spot on jimeen. Here's another cracker from him....
Willie Shafter. Date Joined: 15 Jul 04 Add contact | Send message 09 Aug 17 17:44 Joined: 15 Jul 04 | Topic/replies: 3,813 | Blogger: Willie Shafter.'s blog if you can show my anyone who can proove im tightfisted i'll donate 5,000 to charity..all my kids have had plenty and still do..not that i should have to explain anything. Now, this is not even a 1.01 shot it's one hundred percent according to shafter who claims to be a millionaire. If that's the case why not make it 100k to charity? Tight fisted or what??? |
By:
Got plenty other crackers about shafter and his medium.... Derek Acorah, but I'm going to drip feed them. Shafter enjoys the anticipation....

i have 3 things putting me off this fight (apart from it being a circus show), but given there's no real precedent for this and even though mayweather should take him apart i couldn't bet it
the 3 things bothering me are; mayweather hasn't stopped anyone for years he has dodgy hands, ok he gets by but it's a worry they could use 8oz gloves, should be 10oz at the weights, the lighter gloves give mcgregor more benefit than mayweather imo gl if you want to lump it, i'm not sure about the whole thing tbh |
By:
"Anybody betting on sport without inside knowledge should go away and get treatment" - Wow
"Would people have backed Steve Davis against Denis Taylor all those years ago?" - Depends on his price really "There's nothing to stop anyone betting on sport without inside knowledge, it's just that over time , they won't win without it" - absolute nonsense (NAP) I would say Jimeen is on some sort of fishing expedition, but after previous comments he can't be. |

This one is definitely in the category or "Sports Entertainment". It's WWE in all be name. I expect it is being equally stage managed.
I seem to remember Brock Lesner, coming from WWE to be UFC champion, so who knows what is possible. |
By:
just been on the boxing forum and 6 or so weeks ago according to posters mayweather was 1/10 with the books ,1/4 now
By:
McGregor to knock him out within 3 rounds (think it will be earlier than that, possibly the first)
Connor going to be at him like the Alamo from 1st bell. Mayweather old and won't know what's hit him "Floyds in big trouble here" you can almost here it already Got premonitions of McGreggor jumping about the ring celebrating, tri colour held aloft. Mayweather sat on his stool in the corner dazed. That's what my score will be on anyway |
By:
i dont mind laying the rnd 1-3 mcg, 9s there now i'll do 10 if you like?
By:
If he comes out flailing, with his defence down, FM will pick him off with ease.
By:
No but if you give me 16's I'll go £20 now?
Everyone saying FM price to come right in on the night only going to mean Connor's price for round 1-3 drifts |
By:
i can't go 16s, someone asking 12
By:
if mcg is going to win i can only see it being in 1-3 myself
By:
Absolutely farcical that this fight is even going ahead.
Just shows how far removed boxing is from its glory days. All about $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$. Btw, backing @ 1.02 is value. |
