given what we know...it's a very easy win for Mayweather but I gave up doubting Conor after his last fight. Made Alvarez look like a complete bum and he ain't..he was a very worthy champ.

Won't be lumping on..I would if it was against another boxer but McGregor has too much X factor for me to leave my bank where it is...

Bigger, taller, stronger, quicker, longer reach, more agile, more active and a power left..and the scary bit...he genuinely thinks he'll win..yeah think I'll swerve.

Btw...all the good odds are gone...heard Conor was 26/1 to win 1 round when the fight was announced :o

Willie Shafter, post yer bet , posting his own bets , post yer P@L, what a total wannka you are.
Claiming to be some billy big balls, "only the strong survive ", I've been doing the boxing gigs for years is the latest one. You have in your bawwlox, , ,you know nothing about boxing, the same way you know fukk all about athletics. If something is odds on , you fancy it, if it's not you don't. If McGregor was favoured in the betting , you'd be putting him up.
All you are fit for is taking 2 quids out of fallers, it's the only avenue that's left open to you , seeing that you were a casualty betting pre race.
It takes a special kind of arrsewipe to post his bank account on an anonymous forum , we are lucky that you aren't well endowed physically, otherwise we would have seen images by now.
Bullying face timers, telling us they are using "his pictures", yet another classic from the geordie.
All in all , willie, you are a chap of no significance with an unwarranted ego.
PS, you needn't bother replying with your trademark foysdc, as I have decided to block you . I have read enough of your rubbish for one life time.

I doubt very much that this is being setup for a rematch. As others have mentioned, Floyd has a huge ego and believes himself to be TBE - the best ever. His record is everything to him, he has already applied to trademark TBE50 and TMT50. I see no way he throws away his legacy.

Van Heerden and Malignaggi both having sparred with Mcgregor see no reason why Floyd shouldnt win, though im not sure how much i trust Malignaggi.

FOMO tempts me to smash into the 1.3 on Floyd but I think Ill have a trade instead, can see him going off much close to 1.2 fight night.

1.27 is either the bet of the year(s) or a warning from the Gods to leave it alone. I can't get my head around why there has been a  drift in recent weeks and it's this that has prevented me from placing a decent bet on FM. There is no way he would take a fall, or even contemplate fighting for a draw and a re-match. He has a lot in his favour even allowing for the fact CM is a street fighter with crazed animal instinct who could land a lucky punch, but he's not actually that hard a hitter anyway (aka Foreman or Tyson for example). I can't see anything but a FM win, points or otherwise, I just wish the drift hadn't occurred, but I know I will have to place a bet soon, if only for fear of regret if he won and I had bottled it.

This is a general observation and not meant as having a go at anyone but as far the term "lucky punch" goes, what does that even mean and does such a thing even exist?

As far as McGregor apparently not being a hard hitter (and this now is addressing a point directly) from his 21 MMA victories, only one has been by submission, two by decision and the rest have been from KO/TKO via a punch or punches, with only one of those from an elbow.

Professional fighters at world level can really crack and punch more correctly than UFC fighters, I would doubt McGregors power actually. Watch the Crawford/Indongo fight from last Saturday to show what wild looping hooks will get you against top fighters.

Professional boxers at world level punch harder and more correctly than UFC fighters, they really can crack, it is their stock and trade; UFC fighters don't punch as correctly usually. I would doubt McGregor's power, I'd worry his flashing blows might transfer well wearing gloves and would just generally doubt his power.

Watching Crawford/Indongo at the weekend was a reminder of what happens to fighters who throw wide looping punches at the elite level. It was very instructive for this fight I thought.

Mcgregor not getting any decent sparring is also a big negative.

Willie,
I don't have any opinion whatsoever on this rubbish . It's an event that's very similar  to wrestling, and even the compulsives wouldn't entertain betting on that.
Look at the people involved in this nonsense, how could anyone risk their money on the outcome of an event that this crowd are organisers of.
Most people with even limited knowledge of pugilism, will fancy the American low life, but will it be straight?, who knows whether it will or it won't ?
Mayweather is a reprehensible creature, but at least he has a sporting record that he can be proud of. The other thing that's going into the ring , actually makes my blood boil. He's a complete fraud , and as low life's go , there couldn't be much worse. I simply cannot abide the horrible bassstard, and as an Irish man myself , he's someone that I am totally ashamed of.
Now as for paying to see this circus , I'd rather wipe my bottom with the money and then eat the notes . I don't really care who wins , it's a farce anyway, they are more than likely going to angle towards a rematch if they can , and relieve the imbeciles who watch it , of many more millions.

And yes, of course it will be straight.

The people really close to Mayweather know the result of this , it's totally  in his hands . If it's straight and he's 100 % fit, then there's no betting in this bulllshhit.
And unless you are in that circle , then you cannot bet with confidence in this event.
No matter who wins, there will be the " I told you so's ", the losers will just mooch away and have a good chat with themselves.

The people really close to Mayweather don't know the result to this jimeen, unless they see defeat for him as impossible, which it isn't. The only way they might actually know the result beyond doubt is if Mayweather were to throw the fight and with his ego, that's very unlikely.

Why also is it a case of "there's no betting in this bulllshhit" if Mayweather is 1.27 or with a 27% return on your money? You won't get that at the Bradford & Bingley, will you?
By:
jimeen
When: 22 Aug 17 13:49
That's the thing ima mazed, defeat for Mayweather is impossible, that's as long as he's 100% fit and ready , and performs to the best of his ability.
The insiders in his camp will be fully aware of his wellbeing, it's not as if he's a horse and can't tell them if he's not spot on.
One of the best fighters ever is fighting a guy that's never had a fight under these rules before in his life. It's a non event as long as it's straight, but look at the people involved , it is only the inner circle that knows the outcome.

Conor looks in the best condition I've ever seen him....excellent strength and conditioning this camp and the weight cut will be perfect not like when he was a skeleton for the 145 weigh ins...reckon he should be around 180 on fight night.

Meanwhile Mayweather was out late at Burger King Sunday night...said he wanted to keep the weight on.
