The potential lack of pace may benefit Almuhalab as the obvious running style for him would always be go forward due to being a bit one paced, you make a good point about last time with Inshaa and if they're having a go you'd expect him to be in the right place.

Aye, 3.20 a minefield. I'll throw in City of Night at a price.

Well done Fl. unlucky saddo.
Graham Lee, nudge nudge, change hands, very stylish... |

By:
Thanks saddo ul with C O N they were both a bit unlucky in the run (moreso Shamaheart) but he definitely doesn't want to be in front for too long though you wouldn't know by his head carraige

Think you're right about the Lee ride the way things have panned out there

Sorry I thought you meant the jock on City Of Night not Inshaa
was watching replay at the time ![]() |

5.20. Betting wrong imo, Laila Honiwillow lost lengths and impetus when switched lto, should beat the fav on that run.

True saddo I had a saver on her last time as had backed the yards other runner in that race last time (king's Currency) gl

Cheers, thought I'd have to let it run when it was punted last night, lucky the markets have several phases these days.

Even Song taken out of the Oaks, not sure why, be surprised if it's on account of the ground as there seemed plenty of juice in it the day she won at Leopardstown.
Leaves me with: Harlequeen, 1pt EW @ 25-1 Across The Stars, 1pt EW @ 25-1 |

23 May 16 00:52 I'm getting a bit worried here, Minding has drifted in the Oaks betting and a few others have shortened, but Even Song ain't one of them I did wonder... ![]() |

By:
George thought you might've been tempted with a flyer on Highland Acclaim in the 800 especially after the draw made the York run readily excusable.
GL if you've had a few quid on in case |

He didn't offer much at Newmarket either, Fl
Good luck with GW |

Told ya the other day I wasn't up to date

GW is not the same horse he was given a ride to have every chance and bombed. Maybe an MOT followed by a break then Autumn campaign
|
|
By:
Mukaynis 20-1 for the Dash from stall 18.
The concern again would be if he misses the break badly from there he'd be in trouble. I'd say though they are very likely to go too quick if Caspian Prince and Normal Equilibrium run to type and if he can travel like he did at Chester he's got to go close I think. Cue stuck behind a wall of horses with a full tank of petrol. Not that Shane Gray could possibly let that happen! |
|
By:
I wouldnt give up on GW Fatlad. I think you are right give him a break and bring him back when he can get his toe in.
|
|
By:
Good luck with Mukaynis, mackies
|
|
By:
The dash looks impossible at first glance will have a proper look tomorrow agree they could go too quick especially in the ground Red Baron another to throw in the speed war, agree the break might be an issue with Mukaynis. What might help is the 18 gate if he can come away and get a pitch to get first crack at the front runners given he gets 6f on easy ground when right.GL with him
Couldn't resist GW in that race yesterday first time I'd ever backed the horse as he's always been overbet but had alot going for him last night and I thought the cp's might've done the trick. |

u retired from naps league gb?

yep, retired

GL with Harlequeen George hopefully they go a good pace for her the 25's ante post looks a nice ew price now
|
|
By:
I'm wondering if they might change tactics on Harlequin Queen and try and test the stamina of the others. She looks the most likely stayer, particularly in the conditions.

Meadway could be aimed at the Musselburgh sprint..
Not quite but good enough for me George ![]() |

By:
Yeah, you needed to stick with the plan George. Tip: Start a month later next year, or maybe on 1st May.
Have to own up to comitting a crime today. Backed Auspicion. Usually put an IR lay up, forgot and went out shopping. Watched it in the bookies and felt so stupid when it went so close to winning. Says it went 2.14 on the results, but they often go lower for small money than what they show. |
|
By:
I think if he'd had something on the far rail that could have given him a lead for longer than Tellovoi did, it may have made a difference. He was so isolated once the leader weakened.

By:
Well done mackies, and unlucky PHS.
The 2lb they got it dropped for that shocker at York was the difference between winning and losing today; looks like they had a plan with the horse and pulled it off. |
|
By:
also wd mackies Just wanted to say again that there is a bucket load of knowledge on this thread fair enough there've been some disappointments results wise but time proves everything in this game.
Given subsequent results some just haven't turned up on the day for whatever reason but initially opinons were spot on in many cases hope you come back for next week the worth of the analysis and opinions even for future form says you should ![]() |
|
By:
With To Follows you just have to be really patient; it's difficult I know. You end up backing some losers and leaving a lot of winners (Woody Bay was in my list from 03/09/15, but there was no way I could back it today on its recent form) but the only important thing is whether you come out ahead at the end of the season.
I would say to George, you need to be savvy about the way trainers work and when they are likely to have their horses ready to win. |
|
By:
Noticed Carnageo absolutely hosed up while I was away as well George which was another you put up.
It's frustrating when they don't win but then if they all won there's no fun in it is there! |
