Its not a patch on the old site.Maybe ok if you are new to betfair.
Where can you see how much commission taken from a bet? Balance used to be on right column of account but missing now. Right column now wasted as it says Win/Lose which can be seen from +- in previous column.

One thing which really annoys me that hasn't been mentioned is the 'My Markets' collapsing whenever you click on a market you have in it.  You're taken to the event list instead.  More of an issue for, say, football where you might be working on 5+ markets and want to have them to hand to quickly click through.  Now you have to reopen My Markets every bloody time you go to another market.  I'm seriously considering withdrawing all my funds when forced to use the new site and taking an indefinite break.  Premium Charge, Sportsbook, site outages, New Site, XMXM, and so on have taken their toll.  One attack after another and I dread to think what's next.

I also found this incredibly annoying, but they fixed this today so you can easily navigate between markets (if you're talking about what I think you're talking about).

As far as new site vs old site, I've tried and tried with the new site but I'm definitely pro old site and would like for them to keep it.

I wonder what they will do with Australian events.

So they have! Thank you. I mentioned it to my account manager earlier in the week and he said he'd pass it on and let me know whether it would be fixed.  I haven't heard back so I assumed it wouldn't be.

Even so, it's still rather slow to move from one event to another (although moving to another market within the same event is fine). I do like the clear headers for each event though.  With the old site, if I have a lot in 'My Markets' I sometime struggled to find what I'm looking for.

I have resolutely stuck to the old site ever since I tried the new one when it first came out and found it was sh!te.
I will obviously try it again if I am forced to, but I am also more than happy to change my allegiance and use my purple account for the majority of my gambling instead if need be.
Please DONT turn the old site off.

I want to report o bug/problem with the 'new' site. In mozzilla firefox you can't scroll down on the forums. It only work only with chrome. This bug last since last year when I test it the new site. Can't believe it's still the same. So now, after being forced to use the new site, now I'm forced to use chrome browser also....

I hope they will release some good themes for the site, I don't like that orange colour on the top, it's to blink blink for me. The classc site theme was perfect.

I suspect a lot of customers will be so frustrated with the new site that they will just give up it with it.
RIP Horse Racing liqudity.

I'm still clinging on to old site.

For those having problems accessing the forum (unable to scroll down etc.) on new site, click on forum and it gives you the opportunity to open in a new window which sorts the problem out.

The important thing that you 'need to know' is that the new site is fcking slower. Bets hang in the system. It is not fit for purpose.

"if you bet on racing, you can turn off the race card info. This will hide the silks and other information - this gives more room for your P&L to be displayed, so the market grid doesn't have to move around."

so we cant have jockey silks....without the grid movementLaugh.....what a croc

Hi guys. Betfair emailed me about the problem with scrolling on forum in Firefox. They told me they fixed the bug and I confirm that now it's working. It's nice that they are taking in consideration what it's written here.

I must say that the new site it's not that bad if you give it a chance, it has some interesting features since last time I check it but it's steel room for improvement

I Hope they will release a theme with the classic site feel. It would be nice also to have a darker theme for night time, that white colour on the full market  page its a pain for the eyes. The grey color background with that pyramid pattern that it's displayed before you want to enter full market it's more relaxing for the eye. At least keep that grey background in full market view also.

Until than I installed a plugin for chrome "Care your eyes" its called, and it has a night mode that you can use it.
_____

Another bug that I had a couple of times is that for example I'm in an basketball market and if I want to switch from total points to moneyline, it takes me out from that match and send me to another various market. Now seems ok, I will report if I will have the bug again.

And please Betfair, make the graph pop-up page like in the classic site. Small and simple. In the new site it's too big, I have to enlarge the page to see the section with matched money. The space between Price - To back  - To lay - Traded  it's too big.

One more thing - Betfair calls with private number? I had 2 missed calls from a private number :)

They phoned me from a private number and emailed asking for a time to call back.

Not sure what I can say that I haven't done so on here on via email but it won't do any harm.

I was thinking about how out of touch senior management must be - are any of them punters? But alot of the board are ex bankers. The CEO was at JP Morgan. These people know the importance of quick access to information etc yet are closing the site which processes provides just that. It is insane.

They really are about to shoot themselves in the foot.

I too am finding the other site much better. Far more pleasant visually, no ghastly blue and pink.
