mrs peopleater - can't believe you use the Betfair site for in-running. Surely not. Use an API.

How long ago did the new site come out, 2 years? and they still can't get it right.
Old site keeps on chugging away without too many problems and they turn it off?
AND Sunday was A joke, sorting out the sportsbook first before the exchange knowing that punters had open positions.
I am waiting on a couple of results for this weekend before I complain to Betunfair about how poor the new site is and then withdraw 90% of my bank.
I personally will be giving the Daq another try. Angry

The only way they will listen is if most of us stop using their exchange

I totally agree that old site should be kept in use.I spent
nearly one hour this afternoon trying to get my  bets on - without success. The delay after 'confirmation' was a
staggering 11 seconds - hopeless. I  did manage ,later, to get a few bets matched but it was hard work.
PLEASE BETFAIR BRING BACK THE OLD SITE.

Can't get into Australian section for rugby.  When I asked why they were thinking of closing old site (last year) was told 'the boys upstairs say new site is better' I asked if they punters, diplomatic answer was 'They're computer experts and know what's best!'

" They no best" but for whom?
Certainly best for them as "employed computer experts".

see text from email i sent to betfair about issues i had in march 2014 on new site...apparently no one else had raised such issues but when i rang customer services i was told that they will never close the old site as customers know it's far superior....i guess i'll have to suck it and see but have zero confidence in it........"on several occasions , 5.20 taunton tomorrow an example , i have experienced difficulty in changing the in running option for an unmatched bet from cancel to keep or vice/versa. the issue seems to be mainly when trying to change multiple selections at once....i have tried numerous times to really ensure that i have clicked on each selection prior to pressing update, however it would appear that when i check current bets at a later time some of the options have "dropped out/failed" i am even convinced that when i "go to my bets" immediately after updating options the options are showing as complete only to alter at a later time."

bizarrely, the aussie racing is still in the "old site" format.

They also said you would be able to change the colours on the new site to replicate what the old site looked like.

I cannot find anything in settings that allows me to do that....

Think I read somewhere the option to change the colour wont be available until early August.

Banks had to do an about turn when they wanted to get rid of cheques ;will Betfair do the same?

I like the idea of a day-long strike if we can agree on a date. Perhaps we could publicise
through the Racing Post or A.T.R.

the new exchange site is horrible, old site was alot easier & quicker, also the order by matched date box doesnt function which makes it even more of a problem & slows you down.

I thought the colour scheme was the least of our worries but I have to take that back. It is a big problem. In the betslip, there is much less of a contrast between the type and background colour than on the old site.

Throw in that the letters are much smaller and it's another disaster. Despite the boxes being smaller, full horses names don't fit in a space that is too big. Zooming in means you have 2 or 3 horses less on the screen. Lesser of two evils when it used to be for 'sharp minds.'
