02 Jan 15 22:00 My favourite bit about that docu though is the bit where he's watching shiranoff (not sure how to spell it) "go on Jason, Go on Jason, go on shiranoff, go on shiranoff, go on Jason ride him out son, gu on shiranoff,,, ohhh *whilst thanking god*"... Brillint as we have all felt that pressure and the fu cker gets home asserting in the final 50, fu ck me its horrible but the end feeling is the best feeling ever, and you can get that feeling again the next time as the next one is the of the same fu cking pressure, you can't get that same hit with heroin or crack can you That's called being an addicted gambler,i havn't had that feeling since I was around my 20s and blowing money in books, its even worse when you stop doing it and still see others doing the exact thing blowing their wages on a Friday evening.. ![]() |

Findley sums up what life should be like
"just fecking bet all your money on a colour, 50k 100k, just fecking stick it on a colour and watch with anticipation" The bloke maybe a gambling addict but life requires a little risk lads. |

Ohhh, the horse wasn't shiranoff, it was suranom, thank you for posting the link up to whoever posted it, good watch imo.

And having checked its results out for the rest of its career it won just one more race, most of the time it was beaten by about 20l
, good old findley man caught it at the right time, showing what a legend he was ![]() Little Shefford (the 2nd) only ever had 4 other starts and was beaten on average by about 30l , god what a pi ss poor race that turned out to be. Amazing the stuff you can dig up on the internet, I was 8 at the time of that race ![]() |
|
By:
Reached a mark of just a 107 suranom, but its now a betfair legend, we shall all cherish this horse, the legend, the god backed it to win a fortune.

we have one chance to win our electric money, or gas money, we have one chance to win our food money, if it loses we are living on scraps out a bin, but that's the fun of it all, don't get down about it, its all part of the fun of gambling.
Sounds so exotic when you put it like that Burger. What's for tea tonight love? It's either fillet steak or down to Iceland's bins again love. I'll let you know after this race. You must knock them super models bandy. |

it seems to me mr Findlay split generations ,the young held him in awe ,the old knew it could not work (long term)
and if the "milton keynes incident"on here was true...........jump in late with track bookies ,is exactly how NOT to do it with dog gambles.ps his work with retired greyhounds is exemplart imho . |

Scoop and shock horror - he must be the first Henry in history to be commonly known as Harry. ![]() |

£1.14mill is a fair bit of change to share plus his other decent winners and he had a few, no doubt he got trimmed up on buying prices and kickbacks. He gave it a go and lived a dream, not sure how many shorties killed him or how bad the run but teaming up with Bloom should have taught him some discipline. That didn't end well if I remember the cuttings, he always flew by the seat of his pants on course before BF and no doubt he gets by at a lesser level.
|
|
By:
Denmans total prize money is the £1.14mill. Shares in scoop6 jackpots, why the urgency to have to punt daily like a lunatic? Not a criticism more like poor aftertiming but some must have gave good advice that was declined.

Hope hes well if reading this.
I think some of the wannabes on here would donate a b0ll0ck to live one year as harry rather than their inevitable lifetime of bitter existence. |

Absolute legend

By:
Best thing about him as others have mentioned is he bailed out plenty who worked with/put on for him.
I suspect most of them have not done the same IF he is struggling now which i have no idea if he is. Top man always paid up quickly and to the penny. |

Harry was up Chesterfield last month. For the record, he has been too see Jason in the pokey as have a couple of others mentioned in the documentary.

"duz he still smoke marooanna cos of his arthuritus?"
Talking to my GP once about a pain relief medications he brought up a Wikipedia pace on Cannabis and said that is good for pain relief and there is plenty of it on sale in this town. I said that many waiting at the pharmacy over the road for their daily methadone would probably be able to supply. |
