Don't they have £150m in cash on the balance sheet? At least that what they talk about on the investor broadcasts. With ring fenced client accounts and that much saved up over the years I cannot see they going into liquidation.

Its certainly an eye opener though. Some people make 11 withdraws in 4 days. Maybe they should scrap the Premium Charge and charge people to with draw more than once a month or something. It must be a massive burden on their expenses.

Ring Fenced means what it says.
Only an act of criminality by BF could affect Clients Funds.

Patrick, if you read the post he also withdrew £550, anyway what is daft about withdrawing £20? you could withdraw 50 pence if you wanted, and Betquack have a minimum of £10

Racingstar, there are many ways a company can get around ring fencing, and many do

A few ridiculous posts on here, in fact Betfair could sue for libel, but they obviously know from the posters accounts that they haven't got a pot to p*ss in

How do you know your withdrawal has actually gone through Mlewis. You could find it back in your Betfair Account in 3 or 4 days.
This is a problem Betfair now have which sometime or other they are going to have to face up to and come clean.

TEABAGHDAD..

About time that you got back to work banned-banks..

Oh you cannot you have been suspended from the GC...

Seems like they have given that broom to another though if you are making such outlandish statements...

Take more water with it and remember that betfair have all your names and addresses including that of your real abode - that rather cheap bedsit in Ladywood....

ring fenced client accounts dont exactly help if the client account itself has been subject to these dodgy withdrawals which betfair is worried about, do they?

Amongst the the Social Housing Blacks,HFT?

No just googled "cheap areas where those who work for the GC in Birmingham would live" and up popped Ladywood..

Never heard of the place before....

Just thought that banned-banks deserved a change of luck.....

Hey I am no fan of this site.It is poorly run,has a dodgy customer interface and those on the phone think that they are doing you a favour by speaking to you..

In short I may make a comeback in the Gaming World and am available to run the site..

But no the site is not going ti ts up it is the usual arrogance and lack of Customer Response that they are famed for..

Darlo - it is only Monday and there is no way that the cash would be in your bank account by now..

Can't withdraw, have been trying since Sunday(try later appears)and I'm with Barclays. Also when I try to withdraw through paypal it says I'm not authorised to use. Then tried a bank transfer - no  joy. Sent 2 emails neither answered. Like others here, it is hard to accept why such a major concern does not at least making some statement for the sake of their users. Why keep us in the dark and act like it isn't happening. Very odd and very worrying.

similar to me and I'm also with Barclays - I get the message "We were unable to process your withdrawal at this time. Please try again later" - I have also tried a cheque and paypal

Actually I have just changed my mind..

Would not let me post and so I restarted my (£1500) computer three times and have been lead around the garden path to get back on here...

There is something seriously wrong with the whole outfit..

They must be on the wrong end of a major issue....

I may post on the sites that I use to force down the share price of some of our more rancid "Bookmakers".....
