Not really, never expect any of them to win.
Certainly never stop after a hit, carry on, knowing that the next loss is at least 100 bets away.

Which is only 3 days

4th, 5th, 6th are very small loses for a big odds layer averaging 20 so bets a day.

These are end of day results.
However I do have the odd out of character bet .
My last big one was £50 lay @ 40.0 Real Madrid to beat Barcelona 3-1 in Barcelona , when Jordi scored in the last minute to make score 1-3.
So I do have the odd abhoration, but even that was a reasonable risk even though it cost me £1950

yeah i like the figures... 700 x £3 lays = £2100, 4 losses = approx £1200 or 5 losses = £1500, so either way a nice monthly profit, and of course some months you may hardly hit a winner

Did not enjoy economics, history and law for me.
You cannot legislate, too many dos and donts.
I do enjoy what I do though

Are all your lays before the event?
By:
RothmanMike
When: 29 May 13 22:45
Yes, but I know of 2 horses that are massive prices that always lead over hurdles and fall in a heap , so I lay them at 80.0 or so and then put an in-running at 20.0 or so and always get matched.
But in answer to your Q , no I do not bet in running

on the flip side would you consider backing both said horses and laying back at 20.00 based on such info? best of both worlds, all green book

No, very much s blsck and white person, and stick to small stakes

it is possible, but it's hard work and has others have said, a couple of losing bets will hit you hard because you know it's long slog just to get back to where you were.

My classic is to have a day of winning lays - none of which were anywhere near a plc - and to then ... well you know the rest don't you Cool

Never place lay, even outsiders are racing for 3rd - too much stress.
No stress in what I do, it either wins or it doesn't.
Deal with it whatever, and don't be surprised

i very rarely lay in beginners or novice chases, theres too much scope for mayhem

I love laying 50/1 Morning Line horses in the US particularly Penn and Belmont.
They cant even walk nevermind win

So your not a big odds layer, what a waste of my time.

ladycarla youre looking for an argument that doesnt exist....i also avoid horses wearing or discarding headgear for the first time
By:

I always check on trainer changes particularly if there is a drop in form.
Dead giveaway if from a good trainer who couldn't get the horse to win - RP site really good

It was supposed to illustrate that some jockeys / trainers I wouldnt lay whatever the price.
Its not just prices I lay

if your willing to part with 200 quid to be told how to lay a complete outsider then theres really no hope for you
