Meanwhile here at Sedgefield I've had to close the blinds so thst I can see this screen.It's a beautiful sunny day & the same forecast for tomorrow.

allpoints ive gone from a 1000/1 been at sedgefield yesterday morning to about an evens chance.
good to know theres seems no problems sedgefield deserves a break after having the fixture took away from them in the first place due to the bad weather up there in the winter,its not a big price it been one of only 3 turf meetings that do take place. |

thanks turnip lets hope the forcasters have it wrong,3 days ago it was meant to be winter sunshine for boxing day.

Nobody has been more critical than me about Sedgefield over the last few years but they deserve a medal for what they have done to get this meeting on.There's still loads of standing water in the middle of the track. As for there only being three on I would take that with a pinch of salt.As long as the tracks are safe they'll race no matter how heavy they are.Simply too much money to throw away. |

FWIW i half think these southern tracks will race boxing day whether its raceable or not, i know for a fact fontwell are completely packed out of hospitality , marquues the lot.
Ive been there the last two meeting s and the grounds been diabolical with about half the rain, Good luck to the creams who are out tomorrow, try and make it count, eh.. |

its important i have to leave at 5am cashless dont want to get by newbury and its off,roo gets the weather right more often than not,its important to ask peoples opinions that are worth something.

its me talking cashless i am in her account,my intentions have always been to go but now the possibilty of it been off or pissing down all day has made me have 2nd thoughts,i can divert and go to wincanton but they are in the same boat weather wise,sedgefield looks guarenteed to be on but geographicly its impossible to set of for fontwell and do a u turn at 8am,as it happens i think fontwell will race but it could turn into a farce with the forcast rain ,car parks fun fair in the middle and the possibilty of it been called of after 2 races which to be honest seldom happens anymore.

nineiron thats the feeling i get re weather but its changed many times over the last 48 hours,it was only 2 years ago we did the double fontwell and wollybags both off ffs what a carry on this weather has become.
