no , ribero1 , he monitors betfair but never logs in
By:
Cheers, not quite the genius you portrayed but credit to him anyway.
By:
i do know he stood one for 27k on a friday night at newmarket this summer so i'm not surprised that johnny has difficulties betting next to him
By:
couldn't anyone with his bankroll?
By:
Was it odds on?
By:
lol i wouldn't have thought so more likely to be the other end of the book
By:
Roger goes with all or most of the favs claiming that 16/1 shots and bigger never win. On occasions a perspective that proves to be very expensive. Not sure how you 'monitor' adge without 'logging in' but I admit to still learning. Not keen to learn how Roger 'does it' though since my nerve is not that strong !
By:
Don't worry rr,i should have added a smiley,so he walks around with 27k in readies as well.
By:
and a specially ordered cheque book from HSBC containing more cheques than a standard cheque book
By:
so now heres a guy that supposedly carries 27k around with him ,you take it all very much seroiusly then adge as regards crime advertising on here theres a guy that can be at a night meeeting at newmarket with 27 k in his pockets ,it has to be caus eya admitting he aint playing on the exchange...........social responsibilty comes to mind
By:
another little word springs to mind JEALOUS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
By:
HE ALSO CARRIES A UZI 9MM,GLOCK,AND WALTHER PX,NEVER WORRIES ABOUT ANY BOTHER PLUS THE TRUSTY 12 BORE IN THE BOOT
![]() |
By:
HE ALSO HAS A HATRED OF COMMISSION AGENTS,DONT KNOW WHY
![]() |
By:
when you have alot of friends as roger does you don't need much cash, a cheque book is handy though.
and he has never repped for me at uttoxeter although he could as i've a top ten pitch and don't attend that much |
By:
Anybody for whatever reason who doesn't feed the unlicensed, untaxed layers on here is a star in my book.
By:
thought every big winner on here got taxed ribero1, don;t bookies just pay their exes and get virtually pcharge/commission free on bf??
By:
the big winners on here pay tax to the revenue then?Sorry didn't realise that, btw i have no prob with anyone doing whatever on here,my only beef is that we should be hedging in our own market place not feeding a rival and most on course books with any ability would be better off,and yes i'm guilty myself from time to time at the moment but would be happy to stop tomorrow if we could get some unity (never happen unfortunately)so cest la vie and night all,oh nearly fotgot its stopped raining in wetherby!
By:
can we not talk about paying tax please
the revenue will be holding their hands out for another large wedge from me in january so lets enjoy the next week please |
By:
it's raining!
By:
I'm at Wincanton tomorrow, how come most of the West Country is currently resembling Atlantis but Wincanton is so confident they haven't even an inspection planned.
Has Wincanton missed all this rain? It's currently torrential in Epsom at the moment! |
By:
Ffos Las must similarly be sat with their proverbial head up their @ss as well?
By:
The only people who benefit from racing taking place under such awful conditions are as usual the bookmakers, courses are under so much pressure from them to race these days, they have total disregard for the welfare of the horses or their jockeys.I'm just half an hour from Kempton,it's been torrential rain on and off here since 1.00 this morning,it has to be waterlogged. At the end of the day it's up to connections to withdraw their horses if they consider conditions to be unsafe. From a punting point of view races run in such conditions are worthless
By:
fontwell inspect at 8am boxing day,no problems they have said all week dispite the a 27 at chichester been closed due to flooding for most of the last few days.
i agree with quarry re wincanton. |
By:
candobetter
how do you mean the only people who benefit from racing taking place are the bookmakers ? |
By:
Anybody know how much it will cost me to get my car tractored out of the car park at Wincanton tomorrow around 5.00 pm?
By:
just like at haydock on saturday jimnast when the punters won 6-1.
By:
correct ribero some of these on here shouldnt be let loose.
gut feeling for wetherby ribero ? |
By:
quarry
i asked about wincanton car parking yesterday as it was my 2nd choice ,i spoke as a punter they suggested the park and ride at morrisons. fontwell car parking will be a farce its bad enough after a bit of summer rain. |
By:
cheltenham last saturday ribero 6/1 to the punters could have been 5/2 but could also have been 7/0 the result was 3rd in trained by paul nichols.
By:
for all these smaller course boxing day is their onr big money spinner of the whole year the racecourses will do everything humanly possible to get racing on, and the packed grandstands and bars suggest the public appreciate that too.
but , as cando says , it's those greedy bookmakers. lol |
By:
and another thing the result at haydock saturday most of the punters went home saturated before the last with the bookmakers money.
By:
Thanks foxy but do they really expect everyone who doesn't drive a 4x4 to park in the local Morrison's??????
By:
adge of course thats correct i do know in fontwells case they have been promoting boxing day for the last 12 months, even putting a mini fair in the middle they were expecting a big crowd, no matter what now the middle will be like glastonbury and the inspection willput of the walk ups, premier sold out a while ago but the walk ups will find other things now.
By:
quarry
i have given up on what racecourses expect anymore just look at the MUGGING fee.better known as the marketing fee. |
By:
Been and had a look and looks much better jimnast could only see 1 small pool of standing water and rlyl tells me that jonjo sanderson has tweeted saying the track is raceable and its not raining at the moment so things look surprisingly goo although going on from the theme of a bookies benefit in the mud i'm fairly sure that wetherby like several other cards won't be as competitive as usual down to the ground.
back later going to fight my way through the once a year crowd at my local for the last half hour. |
By:
thanks ribero enjoy your pint.
By:
Had another downpour this morning ,fontwell must be touch and go imo.
By:
