It isn't hard to comprehend at all. Just looking at things from my own perspective, as most people do about most things.

Far too many meeting Boxing Day so if half are abandoned then so be it.

adge - what a daft comment. BB just stating a fact and if people really want to 'enjoy' a day out in this fckn weather then more fool them.

Agree with BB. There are too many meetings, and hopefully some of the low quality rubbish will be off. Would be happy with just Kempton, tbh.

I hope Fontwell is off. Shameless dross and ripping off the once a year punters. A vile organisation and they deserve an ass raping.

13 meetings scheduled, what is it June? As long as Kempton & Leopardstown are on I'm sure it won't be the end of the world if the others suffer.

The end of the world was yesterday.

You are missing the point that people like a day out on 26th and many attend the scheduled race meetings - at some courses it is their busiest of the year.

Hoping that a particular meeting is off is pretty "shameless" in my view.

I'm not hoping any fixtures are off, hope they all stay on I was just making a point for us boxing day hermits we hope the top meetings stay on.

None announced as yet, I reckon they will wait until after the rain tody and have a look tomorrow in most cases before deciding whether to call one.

I cann't see any sign of white doves yet but that big wooden thing that's just landed on top of the hill will take a bit of shifting.

I'm being serious now.Yes we've had a fair bit of rain & there'll be standing water on the track at the moment. However if they can get shot of the standing water tomorrow I think they will race. It's a decent weather forecast (wind, no frost & hopefully not too much more rain)& with it being Boxing Day they'll not be bothered what mess they make of the course. It will of course be bottomless but as long as it doesn't become sticky it will be alright for the hosses.

Never mind the once a year racegoer, what about people who work in the industry who have to give up all of their boxing day to deal with these dross meetings.

Yes wasnot, with the help of a few lays on here just about ok apart from the results although bet 1 on the front, doubt it was workable in most pitches.

surely no one bet second line in that weather
By:
ribero1
When: 22 Dec 12 20:50
It's certainly odds against dodger and i don't pretend to know how long standing water needs to clear but the forecast is for 3 dry days and i don't think the coc has given up yet.
No one on the 3rd Maxed! think there were 4 behind me with the truth propping them up.

I don't know what we have to do to get results in the run of the mill NH ribero1.  I wasn't travelling up to stand on the 2nd line but would have bet good money with that card and those conditions that results would have been favourable.

can see them doing their best for boxing day, then with all the damage to the ground cancelling the 27th

Agree with BB, in-running liquidity will be almost non-existent with  the usual split-screen galore, not to mention the obligatory delays to ensure things are even more hectic. Only 1 AW meet too :( booooooooooooo Mischief

Agree wasnot,it looked a very good card in the circumstances, also the first 3 winners were all rancid drifters on here.
